You may just use PIE to calculate the circumference Jenell, by taking the diameter of your loop and times that by 3.142 on your calculator. Then you can divide your loop into as many sections as you want to get the sections evenly spaced. Divided by 12 or 24 will also give you two precise centerpieces across from each other. The easiest way to do this is to use a caliper or divider and draw a circle the same size as your loop. That will be taking half the diameter of your loop and simply drawing your circle. You may then just tie small pieces of string on the marks which you can just take off at any time you like. Hope this is not too confusing. Just a Tip to save you some time. Love your videos.

Hi Jenell, thankyou so much for showing how to wrap & warp a circular frame for weaving. I wondered how best to calculate the wrap portion of circular frame/hoop.
    Thanks again.
    Happy weaving.
    Take care & stay safe.
Lots of love to you & Cody. Jen

Excellent video on circular weaving. I did a prior circular weaving that contained an inner circle. Very different technique. Your video so well explained warping without an inner circle. Learned so much. Thank you!

Awesome video. Quick tip ...math formula for circumference is C=2πr, therefore if your hoop is 10 inches in diameter, the radius is half of that -5 inches. So using your calculator you would just do 2 x 3.14 x 5 = 31.4 inches. 😁

Hahaha I knew someone would come with the formula, for which I was too lazy to Google 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

Hi Jenell, thanks for this video😘. I have just started weaving in the round and it was very useful. Are you planning to offer other circular weaving tutorials / e-course ?
I can’t figure out how to join the yarn especially when I weave with roving and then with a smaller yarn ( don’t like the «hole » it creates when you juxtapose the yarns…have also tried the interlocking method … ) Of course, have experimented a few techniques but I am a perfectionist and am not satisfied with the result … Have bought an e-course from a « famous » lady and I was very disappointed …😓
Have a nice week … hugs from France😘😘😘

instead of measuring the circumference of a circle all you need to do is measure the diameter of the circle, divide that by two so you get the radiance of the circle then use the formula of C = 2(Pi)r

OK silly question, before I waste my time weaving, to find it will not work. I did everything right that you demonstrated, until it came to putting on my warp string. I was watching TV, not quite paying attention, and instead of going through the center, I was evenly spacing it, wrapping it around. The warped hoop finished product looks the same, BUT! Do I give it a shot? Or rewarp the hoop. LOL Help

I'm not sure I'm totally understanding what you did differently, but I would say if the warp feels secure, go for it!
