Something especially macabre and immaculate regarding this quartet... Mozart’s wife said that at a domestic performance of this quartet with his family, Wolfgang burst into tears.

interesting thought moghedien. I find him sublime in this role and live, he was briliant. even domingo. superior with those who had the 'coloratura' which there isn't that much in this role.
