As a “newby” to IG stories I would recommend this tutorial. Jerry seems friendly and approachable so I wouldn’t be intimidated to dm him with any question I might have. I like that he brought it outside, that made it more visually appealing. He has a pleasant speaking voice articulates well great for someone like me who has a hearing deficit. Jerry doesn’t speak too fast thus allowing the directions to “sink in” before forwarding to the next step. After watching this tutorial I’m not afraid to give it a try. Wish me luck! Well, our screens aren't the same...different placement of options...plus what I wanted to know was how to use the green screen. I used it on Reels but it was hit or miss. Took several tries of combinations of when I tapped what and when. Maddening! So am disappointed that you blew through that part. Starting with the green circle in the middle allows me to record myself but tapping the bottom left where my photos are did not work out. If I picture the one I want first then I don't get the screen to record myself again and it seems like the app wants to finish the Story as the picture I chose from photos. It shouldn't be this confusing. This happens to me often. I do it successfully once and then can't duplicate the same steps even though I think I'm doing the same thing as last time.🤔

You did not explain about the two 15 second clips ( max of 4) that you recorded at the beginning. How do you ensure they post one after another So that on essence you get a 30 second ( up to 1 minute ) mini video?
They post in the order they are recorded. So yes, if you held the button down for a full minute you would end up with four 15 second clips that would total 1 minute of video.

You can actually do quite a bit from a computer on Instagram now! But not Stories. If you go to instagram.com/ you can put up regular feed posts, browse, comment, search and more.
