My lease is up in like 7 months between the 3 which area is best I dont wanna go no higher then 156,000 I like downtown but, I miss the suburbs. I several condo's downtown but wanna see my options depending on what you say I might stay cause i was thinking about leaving.
I grew up in Fenton in the 1960’s and I now live out of state, I have a tough time going back to Fenton when I’m home visiting, it’s an over developed congested nightmare compared to how rural and beautiful it once was !
i grew up in fenton and my parents still live there! its not too bad, lots of things you need right there in town but it can be abit of drive to some places like downtown or out to st charles. rockwood summit was a decent enough high school to attend, better than most really. my little brother is 14 and attends the middle school and it still seems like a good schooling system in town. i love fenton park and theres some other good little parks tucked away in various neighborhoods.
Wow Fenton has really grown!! 😲 I graduated in House Springs and went into the military in 1982, I've been considering moving back to MO. Definitely going to look for a place near or in Fenton. Love the Gravois Bluffs, looks amazing.
lol. People who’ve been here their whole lives think it’s awful and it’s like…….ok you’ve never driven rush hour in any other larger metro area right? There’s no traffic comparably
True! Unless they take the 255 St Louis bypass! I didn't know it existed for a while until I was driving toward the city up 44 and saw all the truckers get off at the sign
My son is looking at the Grand Oaks manufactured neighborhood in Fenton, just off the 30 and Delores. It might be actually in Jefferson County. Do you have any insight into this neighborhood? There are several new manufactured homes for sale in there.
I don't know a ton about this neighborhood specifically but I've driven by a few times and it's very close to Gravois Bluffs which is great for food, shopping, convenience. The reservoir is beautiful to drive by which is right past the manufactured homes. I do know this builder has a very similar manufactured neighborhood in House Springs slightly further down route 30 if you're exploring more options similar to what's available in Fenton
Hi, what is the best option for a new single young professional to live? Searching for a rent apartment,in a safe area. I will be working in the area .I don’t have a car I will be depended to colleagues for commuting. They are living in St.Charles. Any suggestions? Thanks !
I got a job offer from Fenton I’m currently a PA native and I’m very scared that I will not like the area, I’m a young college student 20 years old and I’m scared I won’t enjoy the night life and the over all day to day life here can anybody help?
If you want nightlife, you’re better off living in the city. Fenton is a little big town. Lots of small town feels to it. It was originally a farm/tourist town and is situated along the Meramec River. If you love the outdoors you’ll love Fenton. There’s lots of food options as well. I’m very thankful I grew up here. It’s like living in a rural area but it’s also very suburban.
You will find out that joyous nightlife you seek to take part in doesn't exist. Don't be another dog that chases it's tail until it too late. Fenton is a nice place to settle down, get married, decide to have a wonderful family. Just as good as any other town. Best of luck. Maybe calm down a little with Project X, Animal House, and American Pie
It's pretty much suburbia, nice but not much night life. If you are working there you could see if Webster Groves or Kirkwood are places you could afford that have more to do that are still close. You could also live in South St. Louis city and be not too far too. Most traffic would be going the other way if you were commuting to Fenton during the mornings.
What areas do you want to hear about next?

Gravois Bluffs has a TON going on!! Have you been back recently since you left to see what has changed?
So that means you went to northwest!! That’s so cool I currently go to northwest. I love finding alumni’s in the wild

One thing I like about the STL area, barely any traffic.

South County is located south of I-44 I'm thinking truck drivers better learn it. Cuz you'll be heading to st. Louis!

@@mozark.hiker_ not sure if it's still relative, but Fenton is 20 minutes away from the city, traffic contingent. 45 minutes from st charles.
