    Huge visual improvement. Thanks for being honest about reconsidering elements of your set-up.

    Looks great. The lights on the fender flares even tie together nicely with your other after market lights.

    Those are the exact same flares I have on my JK. Pretty classic design.

    Your story is mine from 4 years or so ago. I had metal skinny fenders but was sick of the spray. I love my bushwacker fenders

    The new fenders look much better. I also have the same ones. The ONLY thing I don't like about them is not being able to stand on them. Other than that, I think that they are the best solution out there!

    I'm glad you put those really nice bushwhacker fenders on. They look so much better. The bushwhackers and the rough country high clearance fenders are my two favorites. Only problem with the rough country fenders are a bunch of drilling out the holes to accept lots of riv-nuts. It's not a concern if you're never going to change fenders, however I like the option of going back to OEM fenders if wanted. I watched your first video and was glad to see you didn't drill a bunch of holes

      Yeah that's the reason I never went with RC. Also the reason I talked about not making it a permanent install if you have second thoughts because once the rivnuts are on, it'll be harder to swap later

    I like your attitude towards reviews. TOGR does camping gear reviews with the same selectivity and un-biased testing.

    The new fenders look great!! Good choice on the ABS I think!! Just a side note, I wouldn’t discount smaller newer companies to the scene, everyone might not know them, but that Doesn’t mean they make a bad product. Do YOUR do diligence and research and ensure it’s a product worth standing behind. I have alot of gear from small family owned businesses that I love and compete well with big box name brands. I’m sorry to say but alot of those big box name brand products are being covered in saturation aswell, and by influencers with a lot of followers. Just remember big well known brand doesn’t always mean better! Great install tho! Look forward to your 2023 videos!!

      Agreed! And I def never said smaller companies...I love small companies especially mom and pops. It's why I love working with companies like Gorilla Dirt and MyMedic etc I was talking about the knock off companies that make the same products but with diff company names all coming from the same factory. In the last week I've had like 5 companies offering me air compressors that all look the same.

      And you're absolutely right...and that's the goal...to do the research first and see if others have reviewed a product before just saying yes or no

    I have those ones too, actually on for just over a year now. You made a good point on the fading though, mine have faded and a little weird fade actually. Love the flares not a fan of the support though when I reached out about the blotchy fading. Basically told some garbage and have a nice day... Love them but not a fan of the support...

      Fading wasn't an issue for me as I traded my metal ones for used bushwacker ones that had been painted a burgundy colour so I had to paint them to match my Jeep which is black with orange accents. I did the round tube look ends in orange and the flat portion in black. Holds up pretty good. Love them.

      @@Monarch67 That's awesome. That's what I'll prob do when these start to fade. Or just do a whole jeep wrap

    I see you’ve mounted your waterport on the driver side now. Same mounting idea, just lower/higher, or did you do something different?

    • @BaptismOverland
      @BaptismOverland  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yup so much better on that side. Same height as it was on the other side but I made sure I was able to clear the ledge this time.

    Do you have any cursewords you would recommend during installation? 😂

    • @BaptismOverland
      @BaptismOverland  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      None at all haha. This was super easy. Plastic fenders are way easier to install than if it was steel or aluminum

    How do you like these 1 year later?

    • @BaptismOverland
      @BaptismOverland  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Oh man I love it still. I WILL say it fades easy in the sun. I used Rustolium X2 matte black spray paint (the one that says "bonds to plastic"...that's important) and it looks like new and doesn't peel at ALL. Adheres so good and it hasn't faded. I sprayed it 4 mo ago.
