I would honestly sit down and enjoy a rewatch of this experiment with aliens in survival mode. Creative, teleports, and generally negating any real defense the players could mount was a bit of a bummer.
Even just leaving the aliens around to linger about, vulnerable to ambushes but ever-present, would've been pretty cool.
as our first experiment, we have learned a lot. i would totally be open to doing this again with actual aliens! haha. thanks for watching

While I liked this video, my only criticism is that like many people here have already said, the invincible alien part with people just teleporting to the players was kind of lame. Especially since some of the players had already begun their escape during their doom. They should have been allowed to escape while you guys went to their base and had to actually put in the work to find them, it just seems kind of unfair. They played by the rules but in the end got thwarted or came into issue because everyone just tp’d to them and started bullying them with insurmountable force.

Isn't it ironic that in the early rounds bread was the ones who dissed egg, now at doom they were the ones who was running to egg's base to be saved

Spoilers:
Team Egg are the real OGs, they dedicated themselves to survival and worship and got HARD targeted from start to finish. And in spite of all that, they managed to push through and still came out on top in the end.

Bread wreck them, that it, then the admin play favorite with them.
As they where the LAST team targeted, meaning EXTRA 15 minutes to know what the admins can do and cant do.
And then once they got the beacon the Admin PROTECTED the egg players, as you see them killing a creeper so the beacon can be set, when in reality they could have kill the guy mid way to the base.
Would say the most bullied was alphapa.
And the most unfair was bread, as where the FIRST targeted, and then HUNTED while trying to reach the beacon.
A fair escenario would have been 1-2 admins per team at the same time. Then the beacon and they just wait and see if teams kill each other at the end.

He literally said team bread was targeted first because they destroyed the temple build for the admin. Team bread dug their own graves with that move. Then they left their own team behind as a distraction. They deserved every misfortune
Video idea: set everyone to burn in daylight so theyre forced to make a subterranean civilization. Going above ground at night to be attacked by mobs when they gather resources.

So I agree with what everyone else has said, that there should have been some hope. But I really like the way the shrines were handled: agreed upon reward (horses and saddles) that could be adjusted easily by giving more or less and that was useful to all factions. (Besides alfalfa who wanted a music disc.) Would have been interesting to see what a sacrifice would have looked like, but I'm kinda glad it didn't happen.
There should have been a way to fight against the admins, they get full netherite, 80 hearts, long ranged weapons, teleportation, creative, everything. Killing the admins should be hard, not impossible.
Other than that, video was high quality. Nice.
This is really well done! Buuut The admin's being un-killable and able to fly made it no longer fun. Everyone had to like hope they got away instead of fight. Next time i think it would be awesome if it was more of a boss battle and they could kill you and you just have a lot of hearts but also have your own cool downs. Then it will feel more rewarding

The admins never told us about the sacrifice or temple
We were actually organized in 3 clans or groups at the start
-Team Underground who searched for minerals and resources
-Team Ground who searched for food and wood, also made the walls
-Team Sky who had to make an aerial base
And later just into Exploration and Gathering
Team bread mostly starved to death
So i just want to let team egg know that your base fell by just a mere fraction of our power, and even then, a fraction that was nerfed

Alfalfa Doom in a nutshell: We got so pissed we couldn't admin abuse with literally every advantage imaginable to kill half their team, so we griefed their base
Cheddar: "we want to remain mostly neuteral."
Egg: we want to just hang out
Alfalfa: we want to expand a little, but mostly remain defensive.
Bread: Murder.
The whole cheddar thing was kinda my bad, we thought there was gonna be a nuke so I had the idea to make a bunker, went to the volcano and mined a few stacks of obsidian, but that kinda ended up killing us all

Don't feel bad, the admins would have found you all anyway. They made it IMPOSSIBLE to survive, because the moderators gunned people down, flying in creative, impossible to kill, tracking people with teleports.
It was a good idea, luck wasn't in your favor, and the fact that you had 6 players remaining in such a disadvantageous spot, in contrast to bread with split up forces, 2 territories, and a strat to bait and hide, it was a really valiant effort

Was really hoping someone would actually manage to kill one of the aliens. Would've been so cool to see them do the literally impossible. Granted you were in creative for most of the latter half of the DOOM but still would've been cool.

Hiya! I actually participated in this and I loved it! Looking through comments I see one criticism in particularly that is very very true, Op Admins. Not to spoil anything, but they actually have fixed this in future events, and the next one is gonna be even cooler! Team Egg all the way🥚!
Many comments complained about the creative mode admins; here are my suggestions. Perhaps extending the time to 30 minutes instead? This gives the aliens enough time to cross the map maybe once? The players will have a more suspenseful game; also, the admins will have a time crunch and can't afford to play around. Though I have no idea how big the map is, I am sure you can give yourselves speed enhancements.

Was interesting at first but after the first minute or so of y'all admins going crazy. It really left me disinterested. Don't get me wrong. Good video, great edits and narrating, but itnever felt like a apocalypse civilian type of gameplay. More like admins just abusing the powers and having fun. OP gear, OP health, teleporting etc.... Doesn't really bring fun to the video.
But I'm glad other people enjoyed it. At least they got excitement from it 👍🏾

1. A commenter who says they were team bread said they didn't get told about the admin god thing, so I feel like you should better information everyone.
2. Attacking the teams one after another isn't fair to the teams who were attacked first. They didn't have warning of what was going on, but the other teams had an idea of what was going on.
4. Teleporting to some players and not others to kill them also isn't fair. You should have to be able to find and get to them yourselves.
5. I don't think the idea of being an unkillable force is entirely bad, but you have to do it in a way where they have a chance to run or stop you, you can't just TP to them and slaughter them at random.
Otherwise is was a pretty fun concept overall!
like others have said the creative mode teleporting aliens felt like a cheaty solution to what was a very cleaver escape plan
this is good but i think you should add a plugin that color codes the names for each team so people dont accidently kill a teammate
100p, don't give up just because your first video recieved criticism. For being your first video it was incredibly good, now please continue the good work
it was a very good video and I enjoyed it, but atleast give the players a chance to fight back. put the admins in survival and prevent them from teleporting so they actually have to use their equipment and nerf the guns. so that way the players can like 3v1 an admin and kill them and take their stuff.

seems fun, my only critic is that the admins went creative mode with flying (they could have used the wings mixed with netherite), as well as having them enchanted...the other thing was seemingly infinite amount of guns and capabilities, if anything i would suggest that next time have it limited, yes you can teleport to a pre-designated location with each biome to find the players (flying with rockets and maybe one main gun and a side-arm, with only 1 person having the gravity gun as their only weapon), with the aliens having less hearts such as 5. However, their gear is enchanted and could be looted if they manage to bring one down, making the person who owns the set and equipment a warlord of their own making.
that would be a fairly interesting situation of what someone will do, if you truly want to know someone's character, give them ultimate power and see what they do with it. Will they be a benevolent leader? or a Tyrant? or perhaps something in-between?
the best thing to also do is to give them *Hope*.
Lay down clues, like research bases, old abandoned observation posts, maybe a few bits and bobs with books and information based on the situation itself. Make them sweat as they try to uncover the mystery of the Armageddon to come, in the form of a zombie plague, aliens, bombs, the surface becoming a radioactive hellhole, starvation, endless winter, endless summer (requires water bottles from limited sources), perhaps even a civil war inside a cityscape.
give them books with coordinates to other books, but make sure it's just nearby, either buried or within a trap filled hallway (still able to be beaten) as well as false coordinates sometimes (obvious books can be scams while the real books hidden).
this could also give them the key to survival, a hidden bunker somewhere stocked with food, gear, and items that can help them survive the coming storm (perhaps a stronghold leading to The End as a way to escape that hell, before having to fight the ender dragon as a boss mode twice in order to grab the "Key" to get back to the overworld).
there's many ideas you can have, as long as it gives them a chance to survive. The flying creative, endless ammo, infinite weapons, and teleport spam was just plain unenjoyable as any person could be located and Spotten with utter ease, leaving the admins to basically not have any sort of challenge to find the players.

there should be an event like this where the mod with evolving zombies is used.
4 teams can choose if they decide to work together to survive or kill eachother to survive against the zombies.

Idk about this one. Not very interesting just having admins tp and kill people. Needs some more spice, at least natural disasters would've made it a lot more interesting, rather than just... Admin abuse. Still an okay episode.

I firmly believe that IRL societies always devolve into chaos and destruction, whether it be by resource depletion, or ideology differences. Also, NFT's are terrible.
Basically this. These Minecraft experiments where eventually every group gets attacked, or the leader gets assassinated, or some mass murderer pops up to ravage a whole base are pretty much what happens irl, just sped up since it's on a smaller scale and in a game. Every single society will devolve into chaos and fall eventually.

This could have been an interesting event had you not just abused admin commands the entire time. Even having firearms and advanced armor/weapons could have been fair enough. But then teleporting and using flight commands mid encounter is just bullshit.

I agree with others that this was poorly organized.
Yes it was the first event but all it takes is a bit of common sense to realise that maybe, just maybe being in creative and teleporting to players wasn't fair in the slightest.
This wasn't a survival test or whatever it was supposed to be. It was a very crappy rigged version of hide and seek.
All the players were great and the video was great, only thing that ruined it was the admins

Good storytelling, but letting the admins be unkillable gods that could tp to players instantly was a bit of a bummer. It reads more like admins fulfilling their power fantasy more than letting the players face ridiculous odds and being able to at least form a plan to try to survive. I think there’s a lot of potential in these videos, just gotta work out kinks like that.
Movies like Alien and Prey are great at making the antagonist force be super OP while also giving the humans a slim but fair chance of surviving. TP’ing to players and instantly gravity gunning them to fall to their death don’t seem fair in comparison.

Have the aliens have unique abllities, instead of all abilities, have one able to move supersonic speed, another can fly (like an elytra with 5 stacks of fireworks), another that can two shot people but is slowed, one that is a weapons master, one thats a jedi, one with insane jumpboost that can bunny hop for long distances, maybe have another one able to control the weather and have the final one turn survivors into beasts that turn on their allies with enchanted diamond armour and swords.
Also make them split up all around the planet but make them weak enough (debuffed) to be killed in survival but op when they are all together (like a buff).
maybe include some form of beasts that mutate to be come aggro to survivors but after dying will grant extra health, positive potion effect buff for 5 mins, op enchanted item or can bring back an ally from their team

for ur first video It was really good and I enjoyed watching thru it ive never seen one where the admins join in which was pretty cool, but the only thing that didn't fit right was the god mode/creative mode and teleporting which was just unfair, the whole admins being aliens and invading the world was new it was really interesting to see, but it would have been cool to see players join together and try to fight an alien or let them have a chance to survive, imagine being the players and killing an overpowered alien and getting its overpowered gear and using to kill other players that would of been cool to see, but yea good video im subbing

This is the worst "experiment" video Ive ever seen. All youre doing is just teleporting around in creative and killing people. How the hell are they supposed to defend against that?
If I was in that event… I would have turned on rage mode. Auto clicker and flanked ONE alien. If I won I would have taken the loot. Then I would have used a duplication method to distribute it. Then I would have went to war with the refugees of the alien attacks
If I was there I'd gather as much food as possible and isolate in a bunker nearby the coordinates

I’m assuming this is one of your first simulations so it’s good to see the mistakes you made and in the next do the things that worked and change up the things that don’t. How do players act during the apocalypse? The same way they always do: some will try to help the group(s) survive, some will be jerks and PK for kicks, and some will accidentally fall to their deaths.

Because you are allowed to teleport to players, my idea is to create a underground base deep in the ocean as the player is stacked with food and obsidian the player perfectly hides their tunnel underwater all the way to bedrock and build a nether portal, although the nether is disabled the creation of them aren't so you can obtain an ender pearl and create an nether portal trap then block off the last block with obsidian around the portal, then after that he or she teleports in and places the last block to the trap so he or she cant escape, then when you teleport to he or she, you cant kill them in a nether portal trap, even with creative on, and you cant blow up around it or mine cause of the obsidian
