The way Daniel described the circumstances surrounding his departure from devgru speaks volumes... I'm convinced this dude possessed a fairly high degree of self-awareness, relatively low levels of destructive ego, and judging from the accolades and commendations he received from fellow SEALs throughout his career and leading right up to his departure from the command, I get the sense that he was truly an exceptional operator, and was in no way a disruptive or corrosive component of his squadron/team... And I think it goes without saying that so much of what happens at that unit (and within organizations of all sorts in general) is affected by politics and the interpersonal relationships between teammates, and definitely between leadership and the men they lead... I get the feeling, and he pretty much admits as much, that these politics can often overshadow what could otherwise be a truly exceptional operator's performance and career progression. At any rate, I'm glad he popped chocks the way he did -- You can tell he was comfortable with it, he had accomplished what he had set out to achieve, and there was no ego involved at that point -- he could simply move on to what felt like the right direction to head towards without any reservations or shame or whatever. From all available evidence, seems like a genuinely decent dude...

I’m starting to notice a trend whenever SEALs do contracting work overseas: Chris Osman goes to Haiti and is thrown in prison because they think he wants to assassinate the president. This guy goes to Serbia and is thrown in prison because they think he wants to assassinate the president. 😂😂😂
@@swayzefan3600 As stated by the prosecutor, former American special agent Corbett encouraged the accused Nikola Vučeljić to buy him a CZ99 pistol with the factory number removed for a price of 1,500 euros. In its closing statement, the Prosecution reminded that Corbett claimed that he came to Serbia for business, but not what kind of business, and stated that they did not go into the purpose with which the illegal weapons were acquired. After Corbett's arrest, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić commented on the case on television: "Imagine finding a guy from Team 6, who was after Bin Laden in Afghanistan, with a sharpened gun here and the criminal connections that supplied it to him, and they're silent. Well, it's not like it was supposed to be used to shoot catfish or perch in the Danube," said Vučić. At the trial in Belgrade, which began in January 2019, all the accused pleaded not guilty. According to the indictment, they said that they acquired the gun to shoot at the shooting range, while they explained that the phone correspondence, which was suspected to be related to the purchase of illegal weapons, was about an agreement to buy impotence pills.
If this story is honest and not a cover-up of his biography for that visit to Serbia, I think that the man was just set up by yours, in agreement with Vučić. The game is very complex and not even understood by most of the people who live here, and they are the target of this manipulation. Vučić is actually America's main player and they let him rule undemocratically, engage in crime, of course they blackmail him afterwards, and he plays as the West orders all the time, and his own voters who are against the handover of Kosovo and who are mostly pro-Russian are served by such plays to portray him as a patriot who fights against the West and for the interests of Serbia. And he is an ordinary traitor, that's why Daniel Corbett says that everyone respected him in prison when they found out that he allegedly wanted to kill Vučić, because no one who is aware of that game likes Vučić, neither the criminals nor the guards
