    I think this is pretty cool! A little bit on the pricey side though, in my opinion. I think for that price they could've added the power brick, as well.

    • @digitaldjtips
      @digitaldjtips  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Not everyone will need it though, which would be a bit wasteful maybe?

      Not exactly, bc it can serve as a back up if someone forgets their power cord. It'll be a bit of a safe alternative. Or they could just drop the price of it in general.

    Love my Crane stands because of the quick release lock and the stability. I just wish they were height adjustable. I use a separate 7 port (I wish I got the 10 lol) powered USB. Most of the time 4 ports aren't enough. GAS! Used Crane with a USB hub from Amazon for $80.

    Perfect, I was trying to look for a good stand, as I will try and unlock serato pro with my Prime 4 and start using my laptop just for the extras. But I’m unsure why it’s not working as nothing happens when I connect(nothing happens when I press buttons), maybe it’s something to do with the Hard drive still being in? Any great video

    How does it compare to gravity stands please?
    I love the quality and stiffness of Gravity products. Also at half the price compared to the reloop stand, this new stand really would have to be superior imo.

    If you manage to put a usb in first time you are a magician.... Most newer Windows lpatop have USB-C powering. At least all the ones I have had int he last 3-4 years. Glad to see you upgraded tot he Streamdeck Phil... Elgato gets to most youtube folks before long. Even I have the big keylight from Elgato.. worth every penny. The question for me on the stand is as ever, why did it take so long to work out something that seems so obvious. Simplicity itself. ;) take care.

    There is actually a very quick and easy way to know which way is "up" on a USB A plug. There is a small "USB icon" on top of all USB A plugs. This means "up". The other side should be blank to indicate down. Now if the port on your device is sideways.......good luck!

    • @scoob101
      @scoob101 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Phil Morse Look for the two tiny square holes on the top of the USB-A connector. If the holes which are uncovered are facing up - you're good. Most USB-A`s have a set of holes covered by plastic, and a set on the other side which are "open" - open facing up and you're solid.

    I'm sitting on the fence with this stand
    Has anyone got one that can confirmed that its decent?
    I've seen a few reviews about quality control, silver ends coming loose at the end, the rubbers that keep the laptop from moving working their way off, and also the adjustability with the "Clicking" hole system and that it wobbles and is loose when in place with a Laptop
    I'm putting a 3K Macbook Pro on this as don't want it to cause damage to that.
    Thanks in adavnce
