Dude ... I love this thing so much. I did a review for another channel on the Stand Hub and talked about how (and why) I've never owned a stand until I saw this one. Absolute game changer.
That’s the route that i took too because i use an iPad more than i do a laptop. But i do think i will still end up buying this stand still. What i like is that it has more than 1 USB port unlike Satachi
One question: in my case. I have the following equipment: MacBook Pro 2012 Serato SL3; Phase; Novation Dicer. Would I necessarily need to use an additional charger on the Stand Hub so that it doesn't "overload" one of the Macbook's USB ports? I say this because the MacBook Pro's USB ports also supply power to the devices connected to them. Thank you very much.
Why not have the same ports on both "legs"? i would pay more for that, then you can choose what side you wanna use when you the layout in the dj booth, sometimes you doing b2b sets and both cant have LT on the same side, and bending cables is not a favorite for me. Or if the hub "breaks/crashes" you can just switch legs and keep going...Just my thoughts.
Hey Mojaxx, I recently plugged my 2016 MacBook Pro into my NUMARK Scratch mixer that I bought (thanks to your review!) and I was shocked that Serato has huge audio distortion/loss problems when using a USB Hub. If I plug right into my laptop with no hub, sounds perfect. If I plug the Hub in the extra USB-C port, it sounds like absolute garbage, huge distortion and even the serato visual gets chuggy. Is this a known issue? Would this laptop stand prevent this from happening? Seems like a well kept serato secret…?
just wondering do the legs fit around a rane 72 for example - i can't seem to find specs on the space between the legs? Great review as always though. very tempted to buy
Good video, I'm considering getting this but the price tag got me taking my time making that decision. I want to know what are those devices you plug into the hub and what they are use for? I never heard of a phase.
I have been using this stand for a while now and its great but be careful when assembling it, it comes with 4 long screws that screw to the pods and stand For some reason one of the screws ended inside the stand and there is no way to get it out, while DJing in a club somehow two of the pods became loose and one even feel off, the screw was probably more than half way inside the stand… (not to mention the noise it makes when handling it) Right now I am only using the 2 pods at the bottom and waiting for Reloop to reply my email where I ask them for another screw or a solution Other than that, I would recommend this stand, especially if you need USBs to connect the laptop to a Pioneer DJ mixer and CDJs
Just got this today, very disappointed to find the usb C to usb A cables are only usb 2 standard and not 3. Whats the point in a usb 3 hub if the included cables are only usb 2. Had to purchase a separate usb c to usb 3 cable to get my ssd working at correct speed.
Can I use my External Hard Drive ?? Meaning I would usually plug into laptop but with this stand could I insert into stand and still use it will I am mixing??
Yo. Will this work as a decent stand/hub for N.I Maschine? I need to be able to raise my Maschine above the height of my keyboard, (S61mk2) so this could be the ideal solution... Has anyone used this stand for something like a Maschine at all? Cheers
I just balance my lappy attached by a bit velcro on an old record box. When im done lappy, headphones etc go in the box am i a genius or just a bit cheap? 😂
Yes. It's a USB hub that can be powered off the computer just like any other hub. It doesn't require a USB-C power connector, but the power connection and USB-C passthrough are a really nice option on this hub.
I hade one for about a year was very good then just stopped coneting to my lap to so got another one this week and still won't work with my mac book bro do you have suggestions
Its so awesome when these companies think just like the DJ's and see our needs. Thanks Mojaxx

Looks amazing! I went for a Satechi USB-C On-the-Go Multiport Adapter as it offers 100w charge through, network and HDMI ports too.

I've been eyeing this for a while though haven't been able to budget an upgrade from my Stanton Uberstands yet. Thanks for the review!
Those Uberstands seem to never die!

Can I run my external harddrive and rev7 into that hub without compromising data transfer, latency, and audio quality?
Wondering what size laptop it can support with those fall prevention pegs in place?
Hey, is the 45w charger from the new m1 macbook air enough to Power it?
Can I use my External Hard Drive ?? Meaning I would usually plug into laptop but with this stand could I insert into stand and still use it will I am mixing??
The new MacBook brick is 140w. Would that be too much?
Thanks Mojaxx you answer all my question in this video

Your sl3 works with Serato dj pro?? Mines won’t work

How do u hook up the rane 12 and seventy-two to this. Can someone do a video on that. Or send me a link
I would connect the USBs from the Twelves to the 72 and a USB from the 72 to the stand hub
@@djmiyagi1950 ok I'll check it out wish there was a video on this. Thank u
Excellent 🎧👌😊
Are the USB-A Ports 5Mbps?
The USB-C ports are 3.1 standard compliant, and the Type A ports are all 3.0 compliant, which is rated at around 600 MB/s for each port.
Hey Mojaxx, it's everyone.
The only thing missing is an HDMI port otherwise great start!
I have old mac book pro could I go from usb on the stand and usb on my mixer?

Niceee
It should've come with a charger/plug at this price.
