I haven't old Generator from world war II, it's a 4-cylinder Flathead. Same type of engine that you have set up is just a little different. I've cleaned out the engine I've cleaned out the radiator thermostat works of ran the engine without the thermostat. I just don't see any circulation within the radiator for calling the engine. Does the engine have to be at a certain RPM for the water to be circulating? I haven't rev it enough, because of the thought of overheating. The engine was clogged but I am certain it is clogged free now. I am pretty certain the radiator is just fine. It is a gear driven water pump and everything mechanical is in operating conditions. I bought a thermostat and it has a plug where yours is just on mine. My oil filter copper line runs straight in front of your plug well on mine anyhow.
Great Scott, good information, Good job as always
