Who knew just watching the road could be so relaxing.
Just watching this video gives me both thrills and relaxation. Norway looks like a beautiful country I would love to visit and travel around. The views of nature, rivers, lakes , and mountains there are just spectacular!

I would totally hate to drive around Norway , it would be close to impossible for me to concentrate on the road while driving in places that look like Rivendell

As a kid on holidays, I remember we counted 45 tunnels between Bergen and Voss. I think some short ones have been replaced with longer ones now, but that memory stuck with me.
Yeah they are masters at making tunnels and some long ones. Tried to drive through one there was 12 km long
There are 60 tunnels on road E16, mostly Bergen-Voss. In total 100 km of E16 is tunnel, that is an incredible 10 % of tunnels in Norway.

I go to school at Voss right now, but i live in Bergen. I've driven on this road multiple times, but during the summer it's a totally different experience.

There are alot of Norway road trip videos on TH-cam. From what I see it must be one of the most scenic places on Earth. I know I'll never get there so these videos will have to suffice.

Weird to see Norway have such different road designs and colours from the rest of Europe.
Is it that different? The yellow signs for instance are very similar to the ones they have in Germany.

The most dangerous road in Norway.
Always slow moving traffic, endless lines, tourists which can't drive on a two lane road, and because of this and a heap load of accidents, the speed limit is set so low that the danger of falling asleep behind the wheel is higher than normal. Oh, and you might get hit by a boulder at any point.. :)
Haha. Norway's traffic is the safest in the world, despite impressions. The rate of road deaths fell by at least 90 % since 1970, that is an incredible achievement.
@@eckpolmick5080 if we only built this road right we could have reduced the total death toll numbers by another 5% so far this year. 2 people lost their lives at the exact spot this video ends ends a month ago. This short 25 minute road segment is only good for getting sleepy and driving into oncoming traffic.. The sleepy part starts at 30:09 in this video, btw.
I never get tired when driving, even after 12 hours non stop, except in this valley.

Well, it helps making Norway's traffic fatality rate, with just 1.8 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants in 2020, the lowest in the world.
Wait, people actually drive 70 km/h as the speed limit states?
@@redguard128 people usually drive faster, but the speed limit is low because of poor standard of the road. It may dont look so bad in the video, but trust me, its one of the more dangerous roads in norway. Often closed because of accidents and there is high risk of rocks falling down on the road.
