Wow. Grieg’s Lyric Suite just is now playing on my radio. He was born in Bergen and steeped himself in Norwegian folk music. I have some CDs of his music and will play them as I continue. He wrote this music over 100 years ago, but I can relate to it well while driving through this beautiful country.
After driving with Koffamoto from Oslo to Bergen, and then from Bergen to Nordjord, circling back to Oslo has been an equally mesmerizing experience, even in the rain. Norway is such a lovely and peaceful country. I’ll follow Koffamoto on other journeys I see on the website.
I’m back. There are many stretches which are mesmerizing, especially coming down and then going back up from Geiranger. It’s amazing that Norway has spent so much to carve these roads out of the mountains, for so little traffic. But then, this is not the season for tourists. The hotels look empty. Anyone who comes here during the summer must surely enjoy it all the more. For me, it’s great to drive into scenic areas without having to pay for gas. Thank you, Koffamoto for sharing!
Otta village was interesting...i mean, why almost every house is painted black. Is there some reason for that ?? Just ok color, i dont mean that.... and like in Norway... old red is very common. Its used here in Finland also....but more earlier times as anymore. (special way made, ====""Falu red or falun red is a permeable red paint commonly used on wooden cottages and barns in Sweden, Finland, and Norway. Wikipedia """ / Joyable clip from loved Norway, but i also (old driver) - missed that car-engine-sound. Thanks .
Indeed, Google maps says, “Geiranger is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, and has been named the best travel destination in Scandinavia by Lonely Planet.”
@@TH-cam_Stole_My_Handle_Too well “fav music” is highly subjective so i suppose my taste wouldn’t necessarily match yours anyway 😅 Maybe I’ll consider adding artificial traffic noise in the future though :)
It's amazing and cool to see the clouds hanging on the hillside.
yeah it's really breathtaking. i can never get enough of it.

Thanks! You really gotta keep watching to actually see all that beauty though.
I really like the video. And I understand what caused the lack of sound. But I miss the live sound of the car so much!)
Thank you! I understand why you miss it. If only there were an easy way to include the engine noise but leave out the chatter...
@@koffamoto 🤭Haha, well, yes, for 4 hours to keep a dead silence is simply impossible))

You are so right. Norway doesn't need a blue cloudless sky. It's breathtaking even when it's raining. The rain might even make it better :)
Coming into Oslo in the evening is a fitting end after more than 12 hours of driving through beautiful Norway. Home again!

I like to hear the sound of yr truck, is it a Scania or a Volvo.
It’s a VW Grand California 😅
So 60 km/h is 37 mph
That cute city at the very beginning what's the name of it?
That would be Olden

Le falta sonido o música
...and that is fine. We can add music to our own tastes or enjoy silence
Thank you for the l9vely video.
wow, thanks a lot for your support.
Yes, I specifically muted the original, so everyone can just listen to their own music or enjoy the silence :)
@@koffamoto what about us wanting both our fav music and traffic noise - what makes watching cozy.
