He likes playing younger players as well. So be good to see if he starts calling on Harry Amass and Chido Obi Martin. Gonna need a left back with his 3 4 3 so Harry might get a shout
These days you either get yourself a “wears a cap, big club shop puffa jacket” manager from Germany or similar. So that tells you all you need to know about his style of play! 😅

Now left wing back needs sorting, and where does Rashford play, considering Gokyeres (sp?) Is physically different to Rashford then he would likely want Holjund up top. I worry that this guys management of Sporting has been massively over estimated because of the insane scoring run Gyokeres has been on. Without those goals where would they be? We don't have a free scoring forward like Gyokeres, and before anyone suggests I watched Gyokeres in the flesh at Coventry for 2 seasons, he isn't Man Utd level.
Love Joe's candid emotions there! Probably the most rational guy on the channel, usually very measured with his approach, looking at both sides. But he nailed this one, through his emotions. The dressing room needs to step up. Garnacho, Dalot etc need to wake the fuck up and take things more seriously.
There are 3 players Amorim needs to address immediately. Antony, he needs to try and get him a bit of confidence and make him believe he chose the right career choice. 2, Shaw get him out of here ASAP for free even don't care. He is being paid for doing nothing and has done the same for nearly a decade. 3, Rashford talk to him, about EVERYTHING! Gauge whether he is worth it, ( I dont believe he is). Another thing he needs to do is sign Gyokeres ASAP
Not Fabricator Romancer again ... NOTHING has been announced yet ... Amorin is EXACTLY the same profile as Erik , successful with a lesser team in a lesser league ...
If we spent £10m on a player, we would all say 'so what', so spending £10m on a decent manager seems to me to be a bit of a bargain (assuming he lives up to reputation!)
I was his fan.. but i think his stubbornness was his undoing..his substitutions tactics..so many they couldn't be excused.... even when we had a fit team..against porto, he subbed rashford at half time.. in the league, he brought on antoni instead of amad....these didn't make sense
Where will Ten Hag go next do you think he will stick around in England for a while, take a break, and go to a smaller club and help build them up and do well elsewhere?
As a fan base Manchester United need to get behind Ruben Amorim and not expect him to win the premiership this season. I’m sad ETH has left the club but he’s gone so its get behind the new guy. But this is not a spur of the moment decision in my opinion.
I hope he does well under INEOS. This is an INEOS signing - But I can't stop thinking about the CV. Won league titles in a great club that hasn't won in a while, is young, and has a black beard. Sounds like Ten Hag before he joined! By the 2nd season even Ten Hag's beard had white hair. So please pay attention to the white beard.
Am I the only one who thinks it’s bonkers how anyone would ever give a flying fart about that kind of release clause when you see how much some players are “insured” for? This guy could potentially have way more of an effect on the team’s fortunes than any single player might ever and yet apparently 10m euros is a but much?!
Only condition he should of demanded when approached about the job is no matter who they are if they push back and dont buy into his style, they are sold,
Sorry... but we definitely saw it coming with jose. From his 3rd season at Madrid, his brain exploded. That meltdown 2nd time round at chelsea should have been enough warning. The fact he was giving united an ultimatum publicly just weeks before LVG was trying to prepare for the cup final shows he didn't care about the club, only himself. "I am the english champion but dont have a club".
Every manager has a philosophy and a style of play till they join United. Ten Hag probably played hoof and chase tactics to accommodate players like Rashford and Garnacho.
I have seen the Amorin Sportin L, and to be honest, that team does not play good, plus Portuguese league....well, it is just a training league, Amorin SpL try harder and get results some way but we have a lot of players that does not have passion to play anymore, I hope this nightmare finish one day
I think get him in now. Rest of the season is a free hit, in the summer let him sell & keep who he wants plus another 150M or so. Then we actually start judging him properly next season
What bothers Me most(apart from sacking ETH blah blah )Is if Inios only kept ETH because He won the Cup then they are not the long term planners their other decisions made Me think they were. bit drunk, Best of luck to Mr ETH GGMU

Glazers still here .rashford shaw mount anthony maguire and other players who are crap still here.good luck amorim.i hope you have the backing by ineos to remove these wage stealers and are not forced to play them like all the other managers have been
I worry that this guys management of Sporting has been massively over estimated because of the insane scoring run Gyokeres has been on. Without those goals where would they be? We don't have a free scoring forward like Gyokeres, and before anyone suggests I watched Gyokeres in the flesh at Coventry for 2 seasons, he isn't Man Utd level.
Prev regime players need to be shipped out asap - rashford, shaw, lindelof, maguire, etc ... And ofcource lord antony absolutely!
Michael oliver is the ref for Man City game against Bournemouth. Get ready for every 50/50 call to go Guardiolas way. The fix is in
If we spent £10m on a player, we would all say 'so what', so spending £10m on a decent manager seems to me to be a bit of a bargain (assuming he lives up to reputation!)
I was his fan.. but i think his stubbornness was his undoing..his substitutions tactics..so many they couldn't be excused.... even when we had a fit team..against porto, he subbed rashford at half time.. in the league, he brought on antoni instead of amad....these didn't make sense
Ten Hags' issue was his communication, and that's not a tactical issue that's a communication failure.
All I can say is you lot had better come up with a damn good Ruben Amorim mug before Xmas!
I wish him well. Sadly the shortsighted, negative, toxic fanbase will turn on him. At the first sign of a few bad results.
Rashford needs to go.
Where will Ten Hag go next do you think he will stick around in England for a while, take a break, and go to a smaller club and help build them up and do well elsewhere?
Amorin looks an exciting prospect. He will need time and protection by the club.
Jay (pronounced Je-ayee) who is the Amish presenter beside you? Nice jacket Joe. Great stuff with Amorim
Jay, i still dream about those 40 mins against Palace...😍
🤣🤣🤣
Love the show jay came on Manchester United win match
if not ruthless in january then i will fear the same downward spiral
Sporting have never let us down. Gave us one of the best players in history. Gave us our best post Fergie signing. And gave us Rojo 😂
Am I the only one who thinks it’s bonkers how anyone would ever give a flying fart about that kind of release clause when you see how much some players are “insured” for? This guy could potentially have way more of an effect on the team’s fortunes than any single player might ever and yet apparently 10m euros is a but much?!
Welcome to Manchester United, Ruben Amorim! We will back you, we will be patient. To a new outlook and a new era!
Best possible outcome. Let’s hope for the best👌🏼
Only condition he should of demanded when approached about the job is no matter who they are if they push back and dont buy into his style, they are sold,
First time in my life that I’m actually older than the full time Manchester United manager. Older than Carrick but that didn’t count.
Sorry... but we definitely saw it coming with jose.
I’m just really happy you stayed away from Regis Le Bris. Hands off.
I have seen the Amorin Sportin L, and to be honest, that team does not play good, plus Portuguese league....well, it is just a training league, Amorin SpL try harder and get results some way but we have a lot of players that does not have passion to play anymore, I hope this nightmare finish one day
Up the Paddock, Up the RH, Up the Reds 🇾🇪
I think get him in now. Rest of the season is a free hit, in the summer let him sell & keep who he wants plus another 150M or so. Then we actually start judging him properly next season
Is it just me, or was there no audio?
What bothers Me most(apart from sacking ETH blah blah )Is if Inios only kept ETH because He won the Cup then they are not the long term planners their other decisions made Me think they were.
bit drunk, Best of luck to Mr ETH
GGMU
There’s nothing more certain than Jay saying AbbieAdVerma every 5 mins
He's only a month older than CR7. That is crazy.
What's your favourite Frank Sinatra song Jay? Definitely 'Summer Winds' for me!
Sir A wages paying the buy-out clause.
Please stop acting like the one half against West Ham creating and missing chances was representative of ETH’s entire tenure and the reason he was sacked.
How long do you give him? 2 years?
Did jay honestly say he'd sack him after 2 months. U ever think then if that happened it's the players fault.
be realistic lads it's not managers fault it's the players he can't go on the pitch himself it's the players that can't do it and guess what it's the same players
BREAKING: Joe Smith to Amorim Positive Propaganda Despite Terrible Results FC. Deal done, final details to be agreed with Ten Hag FC and Stretford Paddock. Smith’s buy-out clause with Ten Hag FC not expected to be a problem
"Amor-EEM" - via Portugese football journalist on Sky Sports News this lunchtime.
I believe it’s pronounced Amorim
No one careSSS -via everyone with a life just now
27 million + is what it's cost the club to get rid of Erik and bring in amorein
I give him to March 27, lets be honest its the club and the players not the manager, not that i think the manager helped but.......
Have to be honest feeling a little disillusioned seems like we're stuck in a time loop.
Let's not have a manager 😂. Just keep Sir Alex's life sized cut out instead. Let fans pick the team with a vote every game😂. Surely can't be any worse than we are now.
Decisive, probably the best choice. Hope is the reason we watch and follow our teams. Football, bloody hell.
Great job jay !
