- I had tried several locations, but the surfaces were just not right.
A trip to the beach seemed a great opportunity to let rip in an open space.
Finally this truck proved it's worth on the sand. An excellent time drifting & jumping this RC.
3S supplied battery. Paddle tyre came off before it ran out. 80mm diameter.
Just got this today. Came home and it was here. Unpacked and charging up ready for a bash tomorrow. Cant wait to have a go. The thing is a gorgeous looking beast 😊🙏🙌
Well done, good choice. It's a great fun truck. Took me a while to find the right surface for it. But excellent fun when I did. 👍
Great little truck! I'm waiting for mine to get here on the 31st. MJX has been killing it!
Thank you for watching & commenting. This really is a well built RC for the money. It's hard to control even with 2S & 75% throttle on some surfaces. But on loose ground like this sand it's great fun. The videos would have been better, but I was too busy having fun to concentrate on footage..! 😁
Mine n the misses 2 are due today
Ah, now this is, a truck I could want, because I like the cage, with a nice Land Rover-like steep "windscreen" bit, and the whole vehicle looks like a full-size comp safari wagon from the 1990s or 2000s.
You did a terrific job of getting good shots of a fast-moving vehicle.
Thanks Del. I think I could have done a better job with the footage. But I was just enjoying it too much. There was a lot of footage of it scooting along the sand in the distance. I was a little disappointed on the first couple of runs locally as I couldn't get it to drive in a straight line. Luckily I persevered & tried it on the sand.
The style definitely grows on you. It's also very well built. Goods shocks & very heavy low down. Waiting for the rain to stop to try it on some dirt trails next. 👍
Hope it's not too hot in your part of world right now?
They seem to work really well. Great rooster tails!
Thanks. It was a handful on some surfaces. I almost gave up on it. I even had to try the embarrasing 75% throttle. But the sand was a real blast. Forgot to secondary glue the paddle tyres before I went though. They lasted about 10 minutes! Live and learn. 🙄
@@RC3DPrintAdventure are they not pre-glued?
@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 They are. But with the minimum amount.
@@RC3DPrintAdventure gotcha, just for future referance.
@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 I think I saw that Mr.Tomley had this issue. So I should have remembered.
Great truck, ordered today ✌🏼
Thank you for watching and commenting. It's a great fast RC. Well done for ordering. 👍
Love it this looks awesome great run 👌
It is a really quick & well built little truck. It wasn't much good on grass. Terrible on dusty tarmac. Just couldn't keep it straight. But on a loose surface like sand it's excellent. Wouldn't have focused more on the footage but I was having too much fun. Thanks for watching & commenting..! 👍
@@RC3DPrintAdventure fun it's the most important factor 😎
@@Fonzierc 👍😁
Gotta find some dry deeper sand and this thing would rip w paddles
Agreed. Not a huge benefit of paddles on harder sand. But still great fun with 3S.
Very nice
🔵🔵🔵🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍🔵🔵🔵
Thank you very much. It's a really great value RC. On sand it was great fun. Very fast, but you can drift it easily enough. Thanks for watching..! 😁
That's great. I'm waiting for it to be delivered
Nice one,. Recently grabbed one of these also did some beach runs and a skate park session. Good fun! Where did you pick up the paddle tyres?
Thanks. Yes, they are really good on the right surface. The paddle tyres were just from Aliexpress. But make sure you give the tyres another shot of glue. I had to cut the 3S run short as it blew a tyre off. Thanks for watching & commenting. 👍
It's certainly rips on paddle tires
It's great fun. Strangely when you add power it pulls the truck straight rather than sliding sideways. Thanks for watching & commenting. 👍
I'm between these two cars... which one would you choose? 14210 or 14209? I think the 209 is more controllable... and rolls over less... so I would opt for that one... but I don't know... which one of those would you choose? or if you have a better one for the 150e price range... I want it racing with friends on an asphalt circuit but sometime we will go to the dirt circuit...
I chose the 14209 becuase it looked more scale. Performance wise I imagine they are very similar. I found it very difficult to control on asphalt. The sand was a perfect surface for this RC. It has a lot of power for it's size.
love this! just curious, how do you clean that after salt water basically got into it? i've seen people just throw a hose on the entire car.
Thanks glad you like it. Luckily the body design is pretty good & not much debris got inside. I took the wheels off & washed out all the sand I could. Dried it as good as i could. Then used GT85 spray everywhere to dispurse the water & lubricate. It stinks but does dry out mostly after a few hours. I got the tip from Tomley RC. I can't find his video right now. But if I find it I will post a link. The MJX looks just fine now after it's beach run. It had been difficult to find a good surface to run it on. But it loved the sand..! the only thing I forgot was the paddle tyres need extra glue before running. The MJX spat a tyre off after 10 minutes. Thanks for watching & commenting. 👍
Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subs.
Thank you for great comment and subscription. 👍
Please add the link to where we can get the paddle tires you used. Thanks.
