Iris Malikhan is my signature. My ride or die. When I first got back into fragrances, I blind bought it and I've never looked back. And I love Oud Maracuja.
I just purchased my second bottle of Santal Volcanique in just a year. I find it very relaxing and mellow and tend to wear it at night at home as a wind down/sleep fragrance.
Hello, I tried oud maracuja and I was surprised ! I liked it so much , it's like a thunder in the night , the oud like the night, very great smelling And then the maracuyá came like a thunder! I want it in my collection 😅
I haven't tried anything from Maison Crivelli yet, but have had my eye on them for a while now. The chili notes in Citrus Batikanga sound really intriguing to me. Absinth Boreale is going on my "must try" list for next summer for sure. Out of all of them, though, I really need to get my nose on Iris Malikhan and Oud Maracuja. I love when iris is taken into a leathery direction, and I also love fruity oud combinations, so those two really stand out for me. Also, I want to say thank you...thank you for busting your butt to make all these videos before you left for Europe. I know you worked exremely hard to keep this daily content coming while you're away for so long. We certainly appreciate it.
Can’t get enough of Papyrus Moleculaire. I’ll pit this on #1. #2 Neroli Nasimba #3 Hibiscus Mahajad Would love to try Ingredients 07 but waiting for it to go on sale in stores.
Hello, personally i love Hibiscus Mahadjad because i’m from Senegal and we are very used to hibiscus note. We have a sweet juice named « bissap » which is made with hibiscus and we love this juice. For that i immediately felt in love with the perfume
Makes total sense. It's sadly not my favorite. But I love the new Tubereuse though from the house. You can find out about it here in this video: th-cam.com/video/-akboZin3XQ/w-d-xo.html
Yes Iris Malikhan is pure bliss! Amazing fragrance and from the ones I've tried is my favorite, it just makes you feel good, second Oud Maracujá third Neroli Nasimba, not a big fan of Neroli but this one is magic, I still need to try Patchouli Magnetik and Oud Stallion. Need to try more from the brand, thank you Sebastian!!!
I love Lys Solaberg! It’s a hidden gem of the house for sure. And I received a sample of Oud Maracuja and it’s so, so good. Thanks for another killer list. Cheers!
I'm so glad you reviewed this. I bought Oud Maracujá a few weeks ago and it is at the top of my collection. Absolute gem with incredible performance. Oud Stallion will be my next purchase from the house! I received a sample of OS with my purchase and it's so good. Much more leathery and animalic than Oud Maracujá, not redundant to own them both but OM is a bit more unique and wearable as far as seasons go. Oud Stallion is up there with my favorite leather fragrances.
I only have three fragrances from Maison Crivelli and Iris Malikha’n is my favorite from this house. I also have the Hibiscus Mahajad, which I hardly ever wear, and Patchouli MagnetiK, which I do wear and it truly does fill a room! I haven’t tried any of the more recent ones from this house as I am in a NO BUY mode and only wearing perfumes from my own collection, which is extensive.
@@phyllisiervelloI have the same issue lol. I just bought l'immensite and have to quit buying for a while. Once that opens back up Oud Stallion is in my sights
I have smelled Oud Maracuja but I haven't had a chance to work my samples into my rotation. I like the juicy fruitiness that counterbalances the oud. Really interesting on paper. My favorites from the house, if I were to rank those I've tried this is what it'd be but if it didn't make the top 10, I probably don't care for it or I haven't tried it. I think once I try Oud Maracuja, it may knock out one of the top ten. Iris Malikhan is the only one that I loved enough to actually buy and add to my collection. 10.Rose Saltifolia 9.Hibiscus Mahajád 8.Santal Volcanique 7.Citrus Batikanga 6.Lys Solaberg 5.Osmanthe Kodoshan 4.Bois Datchai 3.Papyrus Moleculaire 2.Neroli Nasimba 1.Iris Malikhan
I also didn't care for Hibiscus Mahajad. It somehow copied something in Iris Malakhan but I prefer the latter as well! I find that it's such a creative scent, a beautiful balance of four key notes- iris/leather/galbanum/gourmand quality- and it blends to smell classy too! I haven't worn it in a while though..
1. Neroli Nasimba - This leather floral combo is the best (so far that I tried) and it beats Rose and Cuir from Frederic Malle (imho) 2. Oud Maracuja - The oud here is just rich, not the nasty kind of oud, so wonderfully blended. It's definitely the same mix that Oud Stallion has and it's well done too 3. Maybe Hibiscus Mahajad.. not sure yet. I will agree with you on Santal Volcanique. This smells like Gaiac 10 without the incense smell(which comes off meaty to me) and lasts a lot longer on me than the Le Labo formulation. This house is such good quality--love it.
Thank you as always for your videos. I have and love ingredients 07/2012 and now I am trying other releases from this house. I’ve got a sample of neroli nasimba and I absolutely love love love it.
Love this house now Sebastian, I finally was able to try a few offerings and I am really glad I can finally get my hands on Oud Maracuja. I really love Patchouli Magnetik. Thanks for another great video. Cheers Brutha😎
Hibiscus Mahajad is gorgeous. It is a late spring/early summer perfume for me. I think of it as Delina with more of a spine. I enjoy the camphorous note; it takes the syrupyness out of the Hibiscus. It is definitely feminine for me. Patchouli Magnetik is definitely solid fall/winter cool and dense. The Patchouli is made richer by the peach. It's more unisex than HM.
Absinthe Boreal was the last fragrance I bought before the first Covid lockdown in the UK. I've never thought to try it in summer but now I will next year.
The Iris is gorgeous, has similarities to Floraiku between two trees which I layer together but The creamy, slightly earthy simi sweet Iris and vanilla is the star
I tested Iris Malikhan in our local niche perfume store and it was a beast that smelled amazing for a week on my winter coat. I ordered my bottle directly from Crivelli website and it was an absolutely different perfume. In store it was like Yours - greenish yellowy. Mine was apmost clear and now 6/7 months later it is pale brownish colour and smells nothing like the Tester in store. I am so dissapointed.
Iris is definitely my favorite and Lys my second favorite. I like the Patchouli but I can’t ware it, it’s too much for me, I totally dislike the Hibiscus and Amber. Am indifferent to the others in the list but didn’t try any of the 2 Oud nor Ingredients 07/2012
I've tried almost everything from Maison Crivelli, except Oud maracuja, Oud stallion and Ingredients 07/2012 and I also have a full bottle of Iris malikhan and Hibiscus mahajad, but the rest of the fragrances didn't quite catch my eye/nose. Maybe Lys solaberg, but I am not sure if I'll get a bottle. Thank you for the video!
Yeah, a lot of these you don't hear much about. I'm only familiar with Hibiscus Mahajad which I love. I recently tried Oud Maracuja in store - it's not for me. But then I don't really jive with ouds.
Glad you’re back but also glad you gave yourself a break! Haven’t tried this house at all yet. I know you like I Don’t Know What, but have you tried the body lotion? It’s really fantastic, just like the frag but a little softer and rounder, lasts a good while too, for a lotion. Also a great base for other fragrances of course. Highly recommended.
Oh yes this was even shot before I left. Ha!! I have several that have not aired yet. Several with Joe and Sarah Baker which should make it on air sooner than later! But will air something brand new tomorrow. :)
Have you heard anything about the newest release Cuir Ifrarouge? They’re saying it’s a global exclusive, not sure what that means. Have you heard if it’s going to be available in the US? It sounds so good!
Yes I love this house and my favorite is also your #1. I would put Neroli Nasimba at 2 but not familiar with the rest so now I know what to test. Great video.
This was an awesome brand rating! I like Iris Malikhan the best as well, It is so lovely and smooth and sophisticated. The Patchouli Magnectik is super cool, yet it is too cloying for me even when used sparingly. Gives me slight nausea. Too bad cause I get peaches and patchouli and I like it. It feels so unique and perfectly unisex. The volcanique scent is nice, but leans a touch masculine on my skin. I think it would be divine on a man. I really want to try the new oud maracuja. I love the smell and taste of passion fruit. It grows wild in my yard and it is delicious so the scent sounds interesting. and lastly, Hibiscus mahajad gave me a headache. i couldn't stand it on my skin! It was better on my mom, but still not a love. It does get points for longevity though, total beast mode for sure. Was wondering about the Lys solberg one and now after your rating list, maybe ingredients and neroli.
I need lots of expensive household repairs like a new HVAC system and replacement of sliding glass doors, so no perfume buying for me in the near future.
Everyones Tastes are different of course, but putting Patchouli Magnetik in this list and saying you don't understand why people hype up Hibiscus Mahajad is questionable haha
Its what makes this hobby interesting. Many times we are aligned my friend. This brand uses a lot of note blends that are quite strange. That makes it different and interesting but also hard to connect to. I have 4 bottles after trying them all. All not in your top 10 except the iris but that is my least favorite of the bottles I did purchase.
I’m glad Hibiscus Mahajád wasn’t on your list. I’d question your taste. 🤭 It smells screechy and unsophisticated. I’ve tried the sample twice, early in the morning, before I shower. I can’t bring myself to wear it out for the day. I can see a young woman wearing it as a going out, wanting to get attention. It’s not worth the price.

Santal Vomcanique + Papyrus Moleculair is my fave layering combo.
Papyrus is no 1. for me ❤
1.Iris Malikhan 2.Neroli Nasimba 3.Patchoul Magnetik 4.Ambre Chromatic 😇🙏

Maracujá, the tonic syllable is the last one (hence the symbol on top of the last a).

I love the house & own a few, so so good. Ingredients is my favorite followed by Bois Datchai. Oud M is great! Thought I was done with oud. 😋
Unfortunately I'm never tried any from this house .

Bois Dachai really sounds heavenly, I’ll be checking that out!
I like finding new houses to explore. I tried Oud Maracuja and really enjoy it.

I tried the iris M it was so good I had to buy it twice.... Wish they had it in Extrait (I pray they do soon)
Oh yes one of the best for sure!! 😀

Please smell the iris side by side with Copper from CDG, because I think they're too similar...
I have mentioned in my videos many times that Iris Malikhan has similarities to Copper. You must have not seen those videos. :)
Iris Malikhan also has similarities to BDV Conquer, Plume Impression Elegance Cuiree! :)

oud maracuja is the top of all perfumes for me at the moment. it LASTS insanely long
Where can I try this houses fragrances in Canada 🇨🇦?
I really Love Irish malikhan. Love at first sniff
Is very femmeni?
Sebastian have you sampled MAISON CRIVELLI
x Jordi Fernandez Oud Cadenza Extrait de Parfum ?
I’m curious 👀
Haven’t yet. Hopefully soon.
@@ThePerfumeGuy I can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
I' m thinking about buying MC ingrediens 07/2012. What you say about perfomance of this fragrance? Is it compliment getter?
It's not beastly like loud with heavy projection and sillage but great lingering power for me.
@@ThePerfumeGuy Thank you so much.
Wonderful 🎉🎉🎉
Bought it. Sold it. The fruity passion fruit note made me feel a bit nauseous
Citrus BatiKanga is way too strong, you have to love smell of red hot chili peppers in order to appreciate it.
Oh no no Bois datchai and Lys solaberg should have been way further up the list! Lol
Is Oud maracuja same DNA with LV ombre no made
No I don't think. Oud Maracuja is uber fruity compared to Ombre Nomade. :)
I own them both, while OM is much sweeter the dry down does remind me of ON one the passionfruit fades.
Oud stallion beats them all. Pure sexiness

One of my least favorite creations from this house. I don't like wearing medicinal fruits and flowers! Yuck!

CUIR INFRAROUGE - is incredible Wowowo.
