Ege is amazing. Smells like you are walking through the forrest next to sea shore on the croatian islands, such an underrated stuff. And performance is great
Favorite really hot weather fragrances at the moment are Imaginary Authors Saint Julep. I thought I'd dislike it as I tend to dislike sweet fragrances, but the mint is very refreshing and sweetness kept minimal. I like it more than You or Someone Like You for summery green. I also really like Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic. At first the basil turned me off, but it grew on me with hot temperatures, and I find it's also a fragrance that gives me a lot of comfort if I'm feeling sick and do not want to wear anything heavy but want a fragrance pick me up. The basil has a mint like freshness to it
Happy Saturday! I was just about to email you and ask for an icy update. I appreciate the natural pace of your updates. You are a Rockstar! Cheers! 🎉🎉🎉😊
Hello, for me the most refreshing fragrance in summer heat is "Le Flocon de Johann K" by Isabelle Larignon. It was acclaimed by professionals and Nez magazine. it might not be readily available in the USA. Even in Paris (France), there is only one physical shop selling it. The fragrance is an artsy masterpiece and the most cooling fragrance I have ever tried. The longevity is amazing. I also really enjoy Neon Garden by Dries Van Noten during warmer days. It is a mint + iris scent. Simple but effective
I like that Molton Brown scent, I have the body wash. I think it feels too masculine for me to wear all day, but I like it a lot as a body wash. Makes for a refreshing shower. The only one that I have tried. The Bon Perfumeur sounds interesting.
I need to check out that Juniper sling! Starting to realize Juniper is one of my favorite notes outside of citrus notes. Love Gentle Fluidity silver and Royal Water for high heat Juniper scents, and my favorite fall/winter scent is Original Vetiver 🔥
To get the cooling feel for me when extremely hot, I reach for YSL Grain de Poudre, Heremes Vetiver Tonka, Dear Polly, Sushi Imperiale, LV Symphony, Wulong Cha or Ocean di Gioia.
Mmm.Micallef GnTonic is so good and fresh! Only thing is that here in Norway it doesn't get that hot so my summer fragrance atm is Profumum Roma Ichnusa instead
Wow! ege shines here in hot and humid weather, at first I didn’t like it, then figured out that 3 sprays max makes it shine, it grew on me, it’s a love right now, also performance is good for tough heat…
I own Salado, GnTonic & Penguin from this list and all are icy cold reinvigorating scents indeed. Looking at icyfizz, marble sea, feel&chill & coastal cypress as possible next blind buys
Hmmm, I was just sitting here trying to decide what to wear today. It's 97F here in NC. I may go with Couleur Primaire since I just got a travel spray and haven't worn it out in the heat yet. I've been wearing quite a bit of Penguin since I just got it last week (thanks again for that email 💜)
I find this entire list to be fascinating. Cooling fragrances are a big favorite of mine. Thanks for this list, Sebastian. I have both Molton Brown's Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel and Absinthe Boréale from Maison Crivelli. Love them both.
If you’re a fan of cooling fragrances Sebastian you have to get your nose on Paradisi by Jorum studios! Super refreshing, smells like I’m in a tropical greenhouse! Also Penguin was a huge disappointment for me from zoologist because on my skin the saffron kind of takes over and it becomes pretty boring…
Paradisi is one of my favorites in fact it's my absolute favorite from Jorum. I can the ice-cold effect of that one but I mostly associate it with the greenness. It's so good though!! Bummer re Penguin! :(
Maxaroma sales Carner Barcelona, sometimes a very discounted prices. I got D600, and Ambar del Sur. D600 is fantastic Iris fragrance. Funny, the dent on the MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver looks the same dent I made to my 200ml bottle too. Cheers (gin & tonic)
I've never seen Carner Barcelona in the US. I bought Super Moon at Nose Paris when I was there back in March. I wish this brand was available in the US.
This is so timely. We are roasting in extreme heat down here in L.A. I have lived up in SF and remember how lovely and cool it always was. I was obsessed with collecting citruses last month (and am now on gourmands) but I didn't think of any of them as cooling. Now I see the wisdom of getting one of these. Our Nordstroms has some in-store stock of the #004 - I am going to check that out. (Wearing Opium right now, lol, not very cooling!). Roses on Ice, yes! J.U.S. (love fougere and tea), 24 (granita), Absinthe Boreal (fougere), Juniper Sling (gin is the only hard liquor I can stand) these are genius picks -- I feel better already. 😹😹
It’s been pretty cool so far this year. My sis lives in Pasadena and she took her kids to Palm Springs this weekend. I’m like it’s hotter there. They are mostly just laying around the pool since it’s so hot.
@@ThePerfumeGuy omg, Palm Springs used to be ultra dry heat, but with all the development vegetation it is now hot and humid! All you can do is lie around a pool there. My in-laws live there. whew
Eek I don't like hot and humid. My mom lives in Central Valley near Sacramento so I like dry heat but personally not a fan of heat in general. But who really is?
Thank you for the great video! as usual extremely informative and succinct. Have you tried Jangala by Pierre Guillaume? It’s really cooling because of eucalyptus at the top and it has a nice woody vanillic dry down.
Ones I used to wear regularly to cool down were; Dior Homme Cologne (2012-14), Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne (2008), Mugler Cologne (2007), Mark Buxton Wood & Absinth (2008).
You always say "this is awesome in extreme heat" but I have to wonder... What is extreme heat for you? You live in San Francisco and travel to Europe. Those places don't get extreme heat. I live in Houston, Texas and it has been over 90 all week and very humid. It is very challenging wearing ANY fragrance when people can't breath. Haha.
LOL. Yes I don't really share what I do 24/7 on TH-cam. 45 minutes away from me is 100+ usually in the summer. Yes I take fragrances with me when I visit family in Central California where temps can reach 115 degrees. That is extreme heat. Do you think Europe doesn't get hot? LOL! It sure does. And much more humid than California. So now you know what I say this is awesome in extreme heat! :)
Have you tried FR/18 by A.N. Other? It also has a GinTonic vibe with some melon, ginger, juniper, gin and lavender… One of my favorite G&T style scents out there. 🍈🍋🫚🧊

I love Gentle Fluidity Silver, better than the gold, even though I’m female. It’s great in the heat of summer.
Gentle Fluidity Silver is my cool favourite scent for summer. It's a huge compliment getter also.

My picks for the summer is:
51.3 N - Alfred Dunhill
L'Eau Intense - Carven
Bowling Green - Geoffrey Beene

Oh I ADORE juniper note! My fave is Le Labo Baie 19💓
Silver mountain water, all day long, how is it perfect for summer and yet warm and spicy on the winter?
I would add Tauer “ L’air des Alpes Suisses” , Creed “Himalaya” and “GIT” & By Kilian “Kologne *shield of protection* “
Feel N Chill is fantastic. Also, loving Good Morning by Jusbox. Both are cooling fragrances.
I like that Molton Brown scent, I have the body wash. I think it feels too masculine for me to wear all day, but I like it a lot as a body wash. Makes for a refreshing shower. The only one that I have tried. The Bon Perfumeur sounds interesting.
My oppressive heat trifecta is Roses on Ice, Torino 21, & Blanc Polychrome ❄️
Great scents for sure!! 😀
Davidoff - Cool Water (Vintage Lancaster)....hands down the best for summer
“Boadicea the Victorious Ice Twist” is the definition of an icy feel fragrance. Highly recommend it for the summer if you haven’t tried it yet.
Never needed to wear Mon Vetiver for its cooling effect - I live in the UK 😅 - but I just wear it cos it's a lovely fragrance 😊
I would add Kenzo Marine, Jardin Mediterrane , Moncler Homme

Geranium pour Monsieur before the reformulation, Oyedo by Diptyque.
I just got Xerjoff Naxos about a week ago, but it seems like it has a cooling, uplifting effect.
Definitely not a scent you wear in the heat😅
Surprisingly Naxos works wonderfully in Singapore heat around 89-90F and high humidity. very bright and refreshing.
Salado is the perfect summer fragrance, I immediately thought of it when I saw this video pop up and so glad to see it was included.

One other honorable mention that is very cooling in the summer heat is Regime des Fleurs "Cacti"
Haven't tried Penguin yet but I did love Seahorse 🌹
If you’re a fan of cooling fragrances Sebastian you have to get your nose on Paradisi by Jorum studios! Super refreshing, smells like I’m in a tropical greenhouse!

What a great list. Can't wait to try some of them. Thanks 🙏
Royal Mayfair from Creed is one of my favorites to survive the summer heat.
It's good but sadly discontinued I think?
Great! Thanks for the perfect presentation, as usual 😇
So many with gin/junipet notes and I'm all for it 😍
I haven't tried any of these perfumes bit now I'm so curious.
Carner Barcelona's Salado doesn't get enough attention. It's a great summer fragrance. I've been enjoying Hermes' H24 Herbes Vives.
Thanks so much, Sebastian. Your chilling fragrances is amazing guidance that make me survive from heat in Bangkok. Great job 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
Menthe Froide the best ice perfume
Dior cologne is cool also Misoni wave!🤔
I would like to try some of those scents they look very good. Thank you for sharing.
You have to try Kobe Gardens from The Nose Behind. Super cooling and refreshing mint.🌿
Love juniper berries in summer fragrance, Cologne 352 by Ex Nihilo is one of my favorites for this season.
The most slept on fragrance that SHOULD'VE been on this list is Zegna XXX Verdigris 💯🎯
I got that same indescribable cooling note with Yin transformation
Atkinson's Mint and Tonic does it for me.
Thank you for this great video!
Do you know any perfume that smell like pool chlorine? 🙏
Can you do a video inspired by summer cocktail fragrances?
Your number one is my number one.⭐ Hoping to add Penguin to my collection soon.
YAY!!
Please review the kayali vacay in a bottle set!
Bvlgari man wood neroli goes on so ice cold and just is so refreshing luuuuv it
Maxaroma sales Carner Barcelona, sometimes a very discounted prices. I got D600, and Ambar del Sur.
D600 is fantastic Iris fragrance.
Funny, the dent on the MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver looks the same dent I made to my 200ml bottle too.

I've never seen Carner Barcelona in the US. I bought Super Moon at Nose Paris when I was there back in March. I wish this brand was available in the US.
Sadly we will see them less as they don’t have distribution here anymore.
Thank you, I love this list!!
I just got a sample of Icyfizz, it's really great! Ege is one of my favorites for the heat.
Great!!
Platinum Egoiste!!!! 😢 Imposible to get where I live sadly....

Hey Sebastian! ❤❤Thanks for sharing!😊
My pleasure!!
I’d Ike to also add Simone Andreoli’s Silver Marble.

I havent. It's been a while since I've dug into SL. They stopped selling in the states sadly! :(
@@ThePerfumeGuy this is ancient, from 2015.When you go to Europe you smell and this is great smell.Regards from Spain
i missed Kobe Gardens by the nose behind and of course You, or someone like you. these campherlike smells cool me down

I need to get my nose back on Platinum Egoiste, it’s a classic ❤

Nothing beats the intense heat on a hot muggy day the way 20 sprays of Dior Homme Parfum does 😅
Very interesting video
Gris Clair … you better mention this …?
I don't have experience with SL Gris Clair sadly. I'm going to have to get my nose on it soon. But nowhere to be found near me.

Judging by all the fragrances mentioned, this is a predominantly male category of fragrances.
I didn’t realize fragrance had a gender🤷🏻♂️
All fragrances are unisex btw lol some lean more masculine or femme but you can still wear them. I stay wearing my hibiscus mahajad
Have you tried FR/18 by A.N. Other? It also has a GinTonic vibe with some melon, ginger, juniper, gin and lavender… One of my favorite G&T style scents out there. 🍈🍋🫚🧊
🤍 Juniper Sling
