Hello just wondering if you still have this old milling machine. I'm restoring one of these and it's missing some bit which I going to have to make.would you be be kind enough to give some dimensions on a few bits
@@ACHowes hi Adam thanks very much wel where do I start my machine is missing the entire drive system. Firstly the flat belt pulleys what are the diameters of the steps on the spindle pulley and drive pulley and widths of the steps
Hi Gary. They are great machines, but very old and heavy to use. I’m located on the edge of the New Forest, you’re welcome to come and have a look at it.
Thanks for the offer Chris I’m a bit far away for that I’m in Ireland 😅 is there power feed on the table il try and upload a video of the one I’m looking at iv not seen it in person and the seller dosent know much about it it’s been sitting idle for years he says but still runs
@@garydollard Haha, no problem. The mill table only has power feed in the X axis from Left to Right. The X axis power feed is belt driven off of the main spindle drive, I have been contemplating fitting a motorised belt drive to the table to a. Slow the table feed speed, and b. Make it power feed in both directions. The manual for my machine is available on line, however, I can’t remember where from..
