Respected Ma'am, Being unarguably the finest mind in the field of English grammar, you are earnestly entreated with folded hands to enlighten me a tad bit as to which of the following options would be grammatically correct -Question -He believed that I did it (Transform this Complex sentence into a Simple Sentence).Ma,am, my probable answers-(A)He believed me to do it (B)He believed me to have done it (C)I was believed to have done it (D)He believed it to have been done by me (E)It was believed to have been done (F)He believed in my having done it.
Hi Jamie, Your tutorials are very beneficial and unique in nature. I really enjoy it. You forgot to attach the file containing the list of verbs that take gerund or infinitive. Kindly relink this file so we can access it.
Good evening Professor, I was wondering if you might know a trick or a rule for figuring out whether to start a sentence with an infinitive or a gerund that carries out the action of noun. For example: Smoking is dangerous To smoke is dangerous Traveling is great To travel is great Shall there be a rule about whether to use one or the other or both? I did not find anything in the books! Thank you kindly and please accept my deepest apologies for disturbing you. I pay my respects to you. Andrea
I haven't understood yet about part of ( Verb+ Preposition combos) as word : be interested in, be good these words are adjective, why are they in " VERB + PREPOSITION" COMBO? I'M a english biginer, Could you please to show me how to use! Many thanks Teacher

Dear Prof, Might I trouble you for a question ? When does one has to use an infinitive or a gerund as a subject of a sentence? and when one can use both interchangeably? Any tricks ? Any rules? Any lesson about that topic ? Thank you kindly. A
hi teacher .when we use 'TO' it also be a prepotition.so when we making a infinitive using "TO" it automatically turn into a prepotition which can also be used a gerunds. ex.. i cant wait runing or i cant wait TO runing. am i right.?Thank you
Could you please tell me in the example of" I'm looking forward to seeing you". Where we can use see + ing form. Because we use seeing very less and may be for another purpose.
Dear Prof, It's been an utterly splendid lesson. I was wondering if I might dare to ask you a question ? Where can one find your verb list ? Thank you. A

8:19 what about "i beg you to stay"? It´s that wrong?
If the stars fall down on me
And the sun refused to shine
Then may the shackles be undone
May all the old words cease to rhyme
If the sky turned into stone
It will matter not at all
For there is no heaven in the sky
Hell does not wait for our downfall
Let the voice of reason shine
Let the pious vanish for all time

You can't ask Him what it all means

Let right or wrong alone decide
God was never on your side
See ten thousand ministries
See the holy, righteous dogs
They claim to heal, but all they do is steal
Abuse your faith, cheat, and rob
If God is wise, why is He still
When these false prophets call Him friend?
Why is He silent? Is He blind?
Are we abandoned in the end?
Let the sword of reason shine
Let us be free of prayer and shrine

Never on your side

I saw her opening the door with a key.
Hi
Please , kindly say the following sentence is correct or not.
She being late, I got angry
I would suggest saying “Her being late made me angry” or “I got angry because she was late”
She doesn't reply to comment 🙄🚶
Hello there. Do you have a comment or question?
Good job
Thanks!
