This man… I love him the respect he had for the game- his teammates, fans, management and umpires.. he really never fought but he did especially helping his teammates ❤❤❤
Yeah that confused me at first too. "Wait, why is Arenado dressed like an umpire? I coulda sworn we were in white for that series... Ohhh... the guy making the clips mixed it up."
It was an honor to watch this man play for 18 years. He was our Michael Jordan. All of the guys in this video running are the fastest players on their team, some of them are great base stealers like Acuna and almost all of these videos are his older days.
1:51 and the clip after both confused me. First because Yadi was batting in the first clip but it was Arenado- who'd become our 3B- making the tag on a guy trying to steal third... And then because in the next clip, you've got Chip Caray who later also became our broadcaster, lol.
Ok why is Contreras in this video? But that man is the goat of behind the plate. His snap throws are ridiculous. Would love to see him against De la Cruz on the Reds nows.

💪
The clip ar 1:51 isn't Yadi throwing.. he is batting 😂

How many base stealers got huge jumps on the pitch, and Yadi says, no no no. Sit down son. Miss me some Yadi. The 🐐 behind the plate
There is no discussion. That arm, aim, that success and strength are admirable.💪
At what point, when you get the sign to steal, do you just casually walk to your dugout before the pitch is even thrown? 😂
I love it when the runner just walks away with no argument but even better when they have that look on their face like “ what just happened”.

Is amazing
I'm with ya. Spent a lot of time at busch stadium watching him as I was growing up. Nobody was better.
Yadi❤❤
Loved it when Kolton took the base after he successfully stole
Yadi is the enforcer of the 7th commandment, reminding players that "Thou shalt not steal" .
Why do they even bother at all lol
😂 are my family
9:02 No. Oh, no. That's like putting a pink bow on a Jaguar.
💪

Why is there a random Contreras clip thrown in here?
& even bigger heart 😎
Love how the Umpires were often so animated to call runners out. Very few contested calls if any. Greatness
1:12
You know your catcher is good when the announcer can confidently say “goodbye not even close”
@TAS Please include replays on the close calls.
Tony Pena was my dude until Yadi became the GOAT Catcher. Field general. The dog!
Nice video!!!
7:15 that swing tho
15122 put outs no one will catch that number
1:53 what game is this and what are those jerseys?
Can’t recall the year, but baseball did a tribute to the Negro League teams that were located in cities with current MLB franchises.
@@Renville80Nevermind I looked it up it was players weekend.
Wow ! that catcher's arm is unbelievable
I'm in STL and have seen most of his games. Complete badazz. And a total crybaby card. 😂
Is that Sammy Sosa of the cubs
Yes
