Love Yadi arguably the best catcher. But I love the look and smile on Rizzo's face. He knew he got thrown out by a legend. No disrespect no challenge. Ultimate respect from one future HOFer to another.
Ok so. I live in the UK. I have never ever watched or even been interested in baseball before. Last week I found a channel called Jomboy media and now I love this game and Yadi is my hero.
Hilarious. This is exactly me. I found Jomboy in the spring and now I love baseball again and Yadi is my hero. HILARIOUS! But I am incredibly sad that I only found my hero in the year he is retiring. Huge, HUGE DOH on my part.
I'm going to miss Yadi when he retires. He's one of the biggest reasons I like watching the Cardinal play, even before I'd watch the 2 teams here at home. St. Louis is always in contention for something big.
Yadi will be remembered as a great and legendary catcher. Because he's still playing great when he's 40. Personally, I hope Yadi will not retire and continue to play for about two years.
His uncle, TITI MOLI did some work in my house and left it in GREAT SHAPE. Kudos TITI. Our friendship has GROWN since 1978. God Bless You brother and your wife CUCUSA and your kids and grand kids.
He's the best ever at sensing when a base runner's weight shifts to his lead leg. He sees it with his peripheral vision so the runner isn't aware. Then with catlike quickness and a howitzer arm he throws behind him.
I used to hate Yadi when I was younger because he looked kinds like a thug and he'd always make great plays on both sides of the ball. Now that I'm 19, I've cemented him in my mind as a total badass who'll do anything no matter how old he is. Thug is right: thug life. What a beast
That breaking ball he throws to second (AROUND the pitcher) blows my my mind, pitchers know they stay on the rubber and the short-stop knows the ball will hit AT the first base side of the bag!
I am not the hugest baseball fan but I would sit out in the hot sun in the bleachers all afternoon to watch this guy destroy base runners. How many grown men can even throw a baseball 127 feet 3 and 3/8th inches from their knees? Much less with the speed of a bazooka and the accuracy of sniper?
A historical team from near Pittsburgh (specifically, a Negro Leagues team from pre-integration baseball). I think it's actually the Pirates playing, if you check the guy's helmet. Not sure whether they were doing historical uniforms for their own sake, or maybe for Juneteenth or something?
Que velocidad para deshacerse de la pelota y q visión de juego,el arte de robar es mejor cuando le tomas el tiempo al picher y no retar el brazo de un receptor de este nivel

Legendary. Yadi’s almost 40 years old, still throwing darts out there. what an impressive career.
It's almost like he gets better with age.. what a beast
Out of the 3 Molina’s, who was the better catcher? Miss benji and big daddy vladi playing and the 2000s-2013s angels.

Rizzo ain't no hall of famer
@@drewfleming5584 I bet he will be
Rizzo won’t be in the HoF. Might have his Cubs number retired, but he won’t make the Hall.
Ivan Rodriguez
How bout cubs hall of fame
He's a better defensive catcher than most other catchers these days, and he's almost 40 years old. Yadi Molina is the last of his kind.
True man, they don't make catchers like Yadi anymore.

One more year of Yadi for the Cards. Need to send him off right with a deep playoff run.
Clearly the greatest catcher ever!!!!...
Greatest catcher of all time!!
Yadi and Pudge !
I dont even like baseball, but I can watch this guy all day long.
The Siri catch at the beginning.
You mess with the bull you get the horns.
The stare down was amazing.
Yadi will be remembered as a great and legendary catcher. Because he's still playing great when he's 40.

How many catchers throw guys out at first? How many catchers throw out a runner at second from their knees? Incredible catcher!
The only person I can think of is Pudge Rodriguez
Pudge
Johnson from the marlins, he use to throw out people at first all the time.
He’s the best
jt realmuto
I was Born in st. Louis and I’ve been a cardinals fan my whole life and yadi is the best to ever play the catchers position
@4:49 Yadi is looking where he’s going to throw , even before he has caught the ball
I’ll mention one better than a throw from the knees. All 3 Molina brothers were incredibly great defensive catchers.
Yadi is the General. He sees EVERYTHING!
Yadi picking off 1st will never get old and you don’t see it enough in the league
Best to ever do it. The game is less exciting without Yadi highlights. Thanks for a great career sir.
that last one was definitely an out because the runner came off the bag. GOOD JOB YADI!!
one of the best defensive backstops ever!
Yadi is “the professor” - he just seems to know what’s going on at all times.
Exelente jugador y personal lo maximo
The greatest defensive catcher of all-time. Why do these fools keep running on this beast!?
Some players age like a fine wine. Molina is one of em
Yadier is just short of throwing rockets wherever he wishes. Such a pleasure to watch!!
1st Ballot. No questions asked
G.O.A.T.!
Second greatest in my opinion on defensive
His uncle, TITI MOLI did some work in my house and left it in GREAT SHAPE. Kudos TITI. Our friendship has GROWN since 1978. God Bless You brother and your wife CUCUSA and your kids and grand kids.
One of the best players in any position ever, at least in my lifetime. Deserves a HOF chamber, not just a spot. Speaking as a Cubbie.
Yadier Molina is a great quick throwing catcher to any base. HOFamer for sure!
Pudge and Yadi best catchers un history!
I'm getting back into following baseball after 15 years of being too busy. Just this season in and I've already got a man crush on Molina.
There's a reason why he's most likely going to be a Hall of Famer nobody runs on Yadi
First ballot
@@charleynewman5758 I would agree with that comment
He's the best ever at sensing when a base runner's weight shifts to his lead leg. He sees it with his peripheral vision so the runner isn't aware. Then with catlike quickness and a howitzer arm he throws behind him.
5:46 An art of composure by two fielders
3:17 player was safe at 1st, reduced to .25 speed is more convincing
Definitely
2021 Cardinals: 5 Gold Glovers and also Yadier Molina
Ke perron se mira sacando en segunda ese camarada

It’s not gonna be the same when he’s gone next year
Loved the way you did it
He, s 1 star and future hof 💪⚾
Unfortunately for MLB there will never be another catcher like Yadi!!!
El caballo de PR saludos dese Mayaguez
That breaking ball he throws to second (AROUND the pitcher) blows my my mind, pitchers know they stay on the rubber and the short-stop knows the ball will hit AT the first base side of the bag!
Yadi was the best ever ❤️! Amen ✝️ 😊

0:18 “It was at this moment he knew, he fucked up.”
0:26 “You wanna look at me again?”
I would look at him again
Legendary Catcher no doubt. But some of those guys were safe 🫣
EL MEJOR ,🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥
Spirit sportsmanship
Love this guy
And this was in his last season !!! ⚾😲😄🇵🇷
Great athlete
The GOAT!!!!!!!!!
Best catcher ever send him to the Mets
We don’t get to see a lot of hall of famers, let’s respect this one
Yadier Molina is great he is my aunt's cousin and I am visiting him soon
2:58 even with that little pause he threw a missile.
Fantastic
Legendary👌
Badeball fundamental
I lmao at Yadi not letting Lester throw to 1st ahahahaaa...
Eduardo. Los videos 'originales' do you have them digitized? Without your logo at the top? We do documentaries, and I had a question to ask.
The Cards have had two of the best catchers in baseball... in Molina and Tony Pena before him.
Every time I see a player try to steal on Yadi I think have a seat Son you're out. 😂
Pretty good video
Iván Rodríguez es el #1 y es humilde
The goat catcher
THE REAL LIFE MIYUKI KAZUYA!
No... It's more like... Chris Takigawa. Remember that he is also known as sniper..
The monster red bird!
Yadi plays for St. Louis.
Catchers rule! ⚾️⚾️⚾️
Such a boss
Soy rd pero yadier eso máximo esa segunda es de él y la tercera tambien
...everybody knows The Catcher is th most-important player.
Kodak; expensive all Star; autobiography yadiar moilna
How many darts has he thrown right at the right corner of the second base bag?
Talk about a major league umpire 3:56
What's amazing to me is the umps still get the call wrong even with video review
Yadi could be the mayor of st Louis if he wanted to be 😏
Can you do buster posey?
How does his arm do that? Flat ballistics trajectory without cocking. I bet a straight jab from him would be a TKO.
When will people know not to run on yadi
Somebody help me. At 3:30, Yadi picks off a guy at first base. Who are the "Grays"? American league AAA?
A historical team from near Pittsburgh (specifically, a Negro Leagues team from pre-integration baseball). I think it's actually the Pirates playing, if you check the guy's helmet. Not sure whether they were doing historical uniforms for their own sake, or maybe for Juneteenth or something?
Lounge coffee
He'll eventually pass Rodriguez for most throwouts
It's simple. If Yadi is behind the plate, don't steal.
Cardinals pitchers keep their head on a swivel. 😳
Que velocidad para deshacerse de la pelota y q visión de juego,el arte de robar es mejor cuando le tomas el tiempo al picher y no retar el brazo de un receptor de este nivel
Man if im base running and yadi is behind the batter im never stealing bases.
you would assume people would not try to steal on a guy that has been picking them odd constantly for 20 years xD
Is it just me or does Yadi look like he is about to cry half the time
I love Hadi leave...
This season will be his last year.
Actually he looked safe buy a quarter of a second
Catchers goat?? 🇵🇷
1 thing in baseball you never EVER DO is try Try TRY to do is to steal on Yadi!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hall of Fame? What do you guys think?
