Mike this video is awesome probably the best information as to what’s what and what it does plus all the scrap goodies inside! Some I find are a breeze some can be an absolute storm 😅 CheeRs
@@MicroScraprMike I got a couple on gold recovery I just save it up I tried recovering some last summer but I can’t get the proper set up yet to actually try refining it! This spring I’ll be messing around with it again!
@@MicroScraprMike you’re welcome! No I’m not going to do any. I just don’t want to mess with the acids! What’s your thoughts on gold and silver recovery?
@scrapitall200 That's a shame as you'd probably be the best one to watch due to your meticulous nature as observed with your scrapping. I'd like to try it. I've seen videos where they use hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, and table salt not necessarily all together, and its worked, slow process, though. The thing is, I'd like a step by step breakdown, weights to product ratio, and the like. My problem here is that the chemicals only come in big lots, or the household stuff doesn't have a % on it.
@@MicroScraprMike Thank you for the kind words. I, too, would love to see videos like that as well but have yet to find any. I’m stock piling stuff. So maybe one day I might change my mind lol.
Thanks. That's true, so to have the ones I've done in the past. The way everything is going with cheapness, I file most stuff now. Those prices in your short, are they good prices?
@@MicroScraprMike The steel is almost back up to the prices of 2 years ago when I started, but the copper is about the middle. I live in the middle of nowhere in northern BC, so everything has to be shipped over 1000 km for processing. That hurts us.
@HHRecycling Ouch! That's a shame as I'm sure it'd be on par with the rest of the country if you weren't so far out. Would pounds be more accurate than kg's?
@@MicroScraprMike Yes, for some reason the scrap yards go in lbs instead of going metric like the rest of the country. I'm 1.5 hours from the scrap yard but the trade off is worth it, in my opinion.
@@MicroScraprMike hey Mike, I would like to ask you if when you pick up large printers photocopy , i mean do you have someone who will transport them and help you unpack them, or do you have your own trailer type transporter and bring them? 🙂
@krystiankucharski7299 . Hi Krystian. The people who I'm doing the pickup from help me load it into the van that I have (depending on the size). I load them myself. When I get home, I just let gravity help me unload them, 😂😁👍
Yes, It's copper (luckily). 👍
Generally, those fan arms are zinc, I'm told. I've never tested them.
If that's the case, my yard is going to be under and over weight, lol.

Thanks, man. I appreciate that you were able to find the information useful. Did I happen to you having a video about gold recovery?

Very detailed video!! Aqesome job my friend!!!
Thanks for watching.
Nice breakdown. Good to see a new video from you!
It's good to be into the routine again. Thank you for watching! 🙂 Do you have any plans on doing gold recovery at all?

Nice! I've only done a few of them but they've all been copper. Good job.
