Also, imagine if the Red Sox make the World Series against the Dodgers and we win. The most expensive team in MLB history😂. It would never happen, but that would be hilarious
Have you got any other hilarious imaginings that will never happen? How about Alex Cora turning out to be one of the lizard people and pouring space dust on baseballs so Raffy can hit home runs that go into orbit? It could never happen, but it would be hilarious.
The Sox should invest in this team. Not sell the farm, but a couple smart acquisitions that get them in the playoffs… that experience with this young roster will pay dividends in the future. They need a pitcher. Make a trade. If not a trade I would even consider Bauer. Better than Brad Keller. How about a trade to bring Justin Turner back? Right hand bat, can give you an occasional game at the corner infield spots. I know his stats are middling now, but he clicked with Boston, and if he is playing meaningful baseball and is at Fenway he might just come alive in the second half. Those two moves, with Casas coming back, plus maybe Grissom getting on track could make October baseball interesting for Sox fans.
@@CalebStonge patience. Remember Duran’s struggles and Hamilton’s struggles… and now they are players that we are excited for… especially Duran. Grissom is just 23 years old.
Well things have changed with pitchers in the minors but evidently no one communicated with the major league club on Campbell yesterday after they called him up. His movement on his 4 seam was reinvented at Worchester. His success at Worcester was all about his fastball late movement. His slider was an outside the zone chase pitch. So what happened..the Yankee throw away dinks an inside fastball and they call off speed to the next hitters. After the damage is done he gets Turner on 3 ..4 fourseamers in a row ..no contact. I get the no bad fastballs approach but ..really. That's his pitch and it's a good one. That outing is on management .
A good coaching staff should be teaching players how to exceed the expectations. The Red Sox had to develop players in the majors because a certain General Manager destroyed the minors league teams.
You just said they shouldn’t have brought in Durand two years ago, and then you said they should’ve brought in Duran 2 years ago contradicting yourself! You guys really don’t know what you’re talking about 😅😒
Does anyone here really believe that Skinflint Henry will spend money to bring players in to help the Red Sox get into the playoffs? I'm not holding my breath.
Not only are they outperforming their projections; they're outperforming their projections more than any other team in baseball is outperforming their team projections. In other words, of all the times that have a better record than what people expected, the red sox are by far the leader in that category. I don't even think it's close. And tbh, I don't think any other team in baseball is over performing. There are several teams in baseball that are underperforming (TB, Toronto, Texas, maybe Houston, Stl - although StL has been better of late). And this is where I do disagree with felger/mazz. I think that when a team (that really isn't overly talented) over performs like the red sox are...management is sort put in an awkward spot. Because this wasn't supposed to happen.
Theirs a few players on the RedSox who deserve to be on the all star this year for instance look at Jaron Duran he’s like number 19 in voting for the all star and as a matter of fact he’s having a better year than a few players who will be starting this is why I don’t think the fans should be voting with the fans it’s who’s most popular is going to get in not who is having a better season
Durran's age 28 season isn't until 2025. Also maybe they're trying out Breslow's and Bailey's pitching system on the MLB pitchers because they don't to ruin the minor league arms in case it doesn't work?
I HAVE BEEN BOTHERED BUY THE WAY MLB IS DE HUMANIZING THE BEST GAME EVER INVENTED(ALONG WITH CHESS) !!! ALL THE KIDSTHEY HAVE BROUGHT UP SEEM TO ME TO ARE READY TO PLAY AND THEY SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THAT SPEED KILLS THEY ARE STRONG UP THE MIDDLE THE DEFENCE WORKING THE OFFENCE IS WORKING AND THE PITCHING IS MUCH BETTERTHAN EXPECTED ( IF WE HAD NO PITCHERS ON THE IL WE WOULD BE VERY CLOSE TO THE TOP OF THE DIVISION), IN SHORT THIS TEAM WILL BE FINE IF MANAGEMENT DOSENT,RUIN IT FOR US BY OVER THINKING THINGS LET THE BOYS PLAY BALL!!!!!
As long as John Henry is owner they'll never make any big trades he doesn't want to spend and make big moves anymore time for red Sox fans to wake up and realize that he doesn't care about this team anymore hence why the red Sox have sucked ever since they won in 2018 they have made one playoff appearance since winning in 18
This team has Alex Cora written all over it.
I agree. I think Cora is the best manager the Sox have ever had.

They should make a move on someone who will be with their young core long term not a half season rental
Sox are not gonna make a moves at the dead line....

Does anyone else think that this team was Chaim Bloom's vision? Young and athletic. Very Tampa Bay circa 2008.

Duran and O’Neill should be in All-Star wknd. Tyler for the home run derby and Duran for the game.
When have Felger or Mazz ever played a day in their life

thanks for the vote of confidence, management lol...half glass empty mentality
Its almost like the people who were being positive about the team back in march were right...

Not me. Henry is the Harry Sinden of baseball.
