BPI! They issued my first credit card back when I had my first job in 2017. It was also a secured credit. I applied for a regular credit card a year after but they rejected it. Hahaha. Pero after sometime nag offer din sila ng Gold when they saw my bank account na nagkakalaman na. 😆😆😆 Stick to one bank lang talaga muna guys. It pays to be faithful. 😆😆

Security Bank! @7:07 true. My 1st cc was issued by Security Bank without asking me to send/show income docs and other requirements. They gave a decent credit limit. On average, I was able to utilize 10% lng ng credit limit ko. Careful lng not to spend too much. Bias ko because unlike other banks few lang ang clients hehe as if your a preferred/vip client like in other banks. you don't need to queue :)
Hi Jax. If its okay, share mo pls your experience as BPI preferred client as well as your BPI signature card. Worth it ba? What are the perks of being BPI preferred based po sa experience nyo? And, any update sa metrobank cc application nyo po?

RCBC yung pinakauna kong PH credit card. Sya lang nagtiwala sa akin. Way back 2007 when I returned to MNL to join a local airline, 1st job ko yun sa PH kumbaga yun ang mga una kong income lang kung financial document ang pag uusapan. Apply ako ng apply ng credit cards deny naman ng deny ang banks. 2010 I tried yung sa kiosk ng RCBC sa Landmark Makati. I applied Sunday, I got the card the following Friday, no CI. Back then I never heard of Secured CC. Kaya it took me 3 years magka CC. 4X ata ako nag try iba ibang banks. Since then nabuild na ang credit history ko dahil kay RCBC.❤️ Ang dami ko pang nakain na mga libreng Yoshinoya dahil sa mga promos ni RCBC.😅
Thanks for this video. Pag napanood ng mga frustrated na kagaya ko dati, makakatulong talaga to.

If you do not have the necessary requirements for regular credit card like ITR, Pay slip, COE, and the likes, then secured credit card is the solution for you to experience having credit cards. At the same time, you are building a credit history, make it a good one so you could have a good credit score. Hopefully in the future, the banks would have a reference for your credit history that they could use as their basis if you ever apply for a regular credit card OR IF your bank had decided to offer you a regular credit card.

Medyo late lang ako but yung SCC is from BPI. I opened last Mar 2021 and 10k yung ideposit but I decided to make it 15k. They gave me 90% for the credit limit. Iho-hold daw for a year then gawin regular CC. Pwede mo dagdagan credit limit mo by adding dun sa diniposit mo. By the end of 1 year, kung ilan yung total na diniposit mo, yun yung magiging credit limit mo for the regular CC.

Last month ako nakakuha ng first (secured) CC ko from BPI. My question is, do you think banks have some kind of prejudice or biases against SCC when you use it as a reference card when applying for their credit cards? Nice content again lodi! 😊 may fren ako nag apply ng secured card with bpi last 2017 due to bad credit history as he defaulted in 3 major credit cards. However, when he was approved for bpi secured credit card, he always paid in full and on time. When it was his 3yr of having such secured credit card, he requested for a release ng hold out deposit and retention ng card meaning to have it convered into a regular credit card, bpi asked him to procide income docs and binigay naman na nya but to his surprise nadeclined yung request nya. Akala nya by having a secured credit card na fixed na nya yung bad credit history pero bakit kaya ganun nadeclined pa rin sya ni bpi for the card conversion kahit may record na sya he is paying in full and on time. Sana makashare ka ng thoughts mo regarding this lodi 😊❤️
