I have an original Stylophone from 1968 with the box and songbook. It was mfg. in England, World Pat. Pend. David Bowie played it on A Space Oddity. So super cool.
Kraftwerk used this (the Stylophone!) in their Computerworld Tour around the world. And you know... Korg made a tribute to this gear called the "Monotron", which had a considerable success. And after that... the Gakken SX-150 came out in Japan, a "cheapo" (not really!!!) DIYer resource, with a supporting magazine full of nice things... if you understand Japanese! Both the Korg Monotron and the Gakken SX-150 being very well moddable. And the mods very well encouraged and documented. A delice, for "cheapo" DIYers.
Hello, I just bought a stylophone retro recently, I'm pretty Electronics ignorant, but I know I like them. can you explain to me the process by which you have done this, the stylophone plugs directly into the FX box and then the effects box goes into an amplifier like a guitar amp or some kind of speaker? would you suggest this effects pedal for someone who doesn't know a whole lot about Electronics, Or is there an easier and more basic one for beginner? Regards.
@Walker even you didn't know what are batteries until someone told you what they were And that was not funny Consider i didn't see that device before 😒😒
But that's only one of three ways it can be powered. You can use a usb cable, a 9v power supply and batteries. Even this demonstration shows it plugged in

Really need to get one or two of the MS-70CDR's myself. They sound great
You could plug it into the FX Send & Return on your mixer, nice
This pedal is so cheap and so powerful

I had one with a photo electric cell and different voices you could mix. You could control Vibrato and wash with your hand and the photoelectric cell.
Incredible gadgets. I have to learn how to play the S1.
Beautiful!
Great Stylophone sounds with the Zoom!
Oh yes yes.
#Grooovy...
Nice one, Doug! Hey, what's on page 3??? 🤗😁👊
+1 for mangled ice !! ❤️ @7:48 - Now you are really making me want that ZOOM Pedal, Mate!! 😀 👊
OK - @11:11 - this is GOLD!
You’ve got to do the theme from Star Trek !
Where you connect zoom pedal and stylophone ?
You connect the pedal to the audio/headphone output on the left hand side of the Stylophone
@@TheSoundTestRoom ok thank you
What kind of cables do you need to run stylus to a pedal
3.5mm to 1/4
Is the Dubreq "Bowie" stylophone able to be plugged into this pedal?
As long as it has a headphone output it should work exactly the same
@@TheSoundTestRoom Thank you for replying! I intent to get this exact pedal feature in your video. Thanks for uploading this!
Hey can i connect Stylophone to Boss Gt1?
Hey can you give some info abt ms70 please? Can i make a stylophone soınd like an electro guitar for example?
Not really no, you would need an overdrive or distortion pedal for that kind of effect
interesting
How is it powered
