So I live in America's pacific northwest. My entire life I have fished but my fishing is only in lakes, rivers and streams. Watching videos like this are extra cool to me. Always get to add a new species and location to the bucket list.

@@CavyFishing Heh, so would I! The best I did was a couple of 20 inch ones in shallow pea soup creek water when I was in Cuba. They threw a popper, so I resorted to a cocktail straw float and a prawn from the buffet, which did the trick. I'm due another appointment with a yellowtail kingfish when I get around to visiting NZ again... Generally I'm a UK coarse (freshwater) and trout fisherman, but the Tarpon has to be the number one fish for me. I'd have a bash at marlin, but I'd feel a bit guilty... Heh. Thanks for the truly great content! Seriously appreciated.

I'm learning all my salt water fish from Cavy. Used to fish mostly inland, Pike, Perch, Zander and the Trout family. Cav dog's locations are insane. Ewww!

you shouldn't need wire unless youre targeting wahoo or mackrel
Hard to found big gt or other big fish in sabah north borneo if we fishing from shore coz fishing using bomb chemical still exist in some part of this area
