I actually discovered Hillsong because Selena in one video is listening to "Oceans" and she said that song inspired her and while listening to it she was crying so then I listen the song and completely fall in love with it, and so the other songs by this amazing group! Don't judge Selena, we can't be like that only God can do it, lets just pray! :)

Jesus said it is easier for a camel to enter thru the eye of a needle than a rich person into heaven. it is very hard for a famous person like her because she would have to give EVERYTHING up and humble herself and carry her own cross. and as you can see in this video, she doesn't.
I have been Christian for three years, and I learned that it is battle. To be honest I do believe that Selena Gomez has the Lord in her heart, but it doesn't mean I look up to her. I learned from my Pastor that you can judge someone actions, but you can never judge the heart. Hopefully by faith that she humbles herself and learns to live by faith, and carries her cross.

Update: After reading the comments, I realized that it is not Selena, but another artist (Taya Smith) singing over a Selena video. Anyway, she (Selena) shared that she had a spiritual experience while hearing the song and that it made her cry. For all of you criticizing (both Selena & the person uploading the video), you never know if one day Selena sees this same video and reflects about her life and has a spiritual awakening whereby she receives Jesus The Christ wholeheartedly and decides to serve HIM from that moment afterwards. it is funny how you were so quick to jump to conclusion and say that we are idolizing her. the reason everyone is very happy is because someone like her with the fame and money she has, she had no reason to accept Christ, and now she just did, this clearly proves that God does exist, and she was lucky to find him as so many people out there are finding it difficult to understand him.

I have been Christian for three years, and I learned that it is battle. To be honest I do believe that Selena Gomez has the Lord in her heart, but it doesn't mean I look up to her. I learned from my Pastor that you can judge someone actions, but you can never judge the heart. Hopefully by faith that she humbles herself and learns to live by faith, and carries her cross.
For as a believer in Christ we live by faith not by sight, so I can't judge.
