Masterful first time takedown of the dreaded Crucible Knight duo! You kept your cool and focus and didn't panic which is easy to do confronting these two. Nice loot for a Faithy build here too. More toys and options to play with, and so I hope to see you enjoying something new once again. You also did an excellent job figuring out and getting through the Side Tomb last episode with very little backtracking or confusion. So nice to see how the patient, attentive, methodical approach can be so rewarding.
This Hero's Grave is nerve-wracking from A to Z. Your experience here reminds me of my number one mantra for successfully navigating Elden Ring: Always. Look. Down. (and up). Well done.
the church with all the discarded fucked up gargoyles was actually really disturbing to me. i remember going there and just standing around in awe and subtle horror for a solid five minutes. such a wtf moment.
I'm not sure if this counts as backseating or a gameplay tip, since it's something you've done already but here goes: In character creation, check out the races. Apart from changing your character's skin colour, there's some lore there that you might be interested in reading again.
Oh, sure, end on a cliffhanger. "Will our hero choose to persecute the dubious Fia or will he submit to another cozy vigor donation hug? Tune in NEXT WEEK to find out!"
Is talking about balance changes considered a spoiler? That double Crucible Knight fight used to be one of the hardest in the game. It just looks silly now that they've nerfed aggression for all multiple enemy fights.
Difficulty of boss fights in Elden Ring is very build-specific. I've seen good players really struggle with bosses I easily smashed in my first attempt, and equally I struggled for ages against some bosses that those other players knock down in one go. Every build has its strengths and weaknesses. The twin crucible knights is a tough fight, but Ackenar's build is well made for dealing with them.
@@broadsword6650 I'm not saying this because he beat them on the first try. I'm saying it because you can literally see how the second crucible knight just hangs out in the back doing nothing for 90% of the fight but suddenly becomes aggressive after the first one finally dies. It's very jarring. Before the patch that changed it, they were both extremely aggressive at all times. This goes for all multi-enemy boss fights now; only the one closest to you will actually fight you, the rest will be extremely passive unless you actually get up in their face.
@@vanpaiaa that's fair enough ... it's a fine line between a boss being challenging and being frustratingly impassable. My point is that different players with different builds find that line in different places at different levels. Have the devs made the game less difficult? Probably. It's that a bad thing? Not necessarily.
@@vanpaiaa I noticed the difference with the infamous [redacted] duo fight immediately once that patch hit. Nowhere near as painful as it used to be, but then it's not as fun. A nice middle ground would have been nice.
Oh huh, I never knew you could run past the charriots like that. Like both the sandwitch between the first and second spawn and later the very last spawn at the door, for both I've always thought the only way to go was around (I mean except getting hit ofc or using means to bypass the getting hit)
Wow, I didn't think of that the sent star become the elden ring. I always thought of that the beast become the elden ring. I need to check japanese version and other translations to verify although I am still thinking the beast became the elden ring. Nice catch
@@PDog69 bro I was level 75 by where he is,he’s 120+💀and I had done every rememberance boss available to me at that point and did a fair bit of mini dungeons aswell
He's not over leveled at all for a first playthrough, I've done at least 20 platinum playthrough and usually end up about level 175 before the dlc when I'm finished with no farming.
@@GregoThe3rd Yeah, but it is going to be much harder for him to level given the low rune reward he will be facing. I have a similar playstyle and was only a litter lower level than him at the same point and still landed at 170 by the end. My joy was in finding all the secrets and deeply exploring the lore. I like the challenge of the fights but it isn't what I love about the game, so I don't care if I'm a little over-leveled

The Purr of the Basilisk sounds like the first in a series of romance novels set in The Lands Between
Rated "R" for half the things named in ER

Heyyy with that episode you tied me on my first playthrough base game deaths.

I just love Elden stars cause looks beautiful and go further then ciclope spell
Hor head 🙂↕️🤣 my water went the wrong way and its worth it 🤣🤣
Funny that elden stars is a legendary incantation despite it being awful for damage .
It’s a guided missile max range spell, not the craziest damage probably for pvp reasons
40min in and action keeps on packing so tight 😅
Great episode ty 🐜😅

shhhh but also that star was the beast
You might want to tag this as a spoiler, friend...
But yeah I thought it was Star -> beast -> Elden Ring as well. Interesting.
yes
Bro you are incredibly overleveled at this rate your gonna be level 300 by end game
Level 300 in ng+0? Idk if that's likely
