I bought my machine local and it was delivered by the engineer. He showed me the ins and outs of the workings of the machine and allowed me to video record on my phone what he was doing. I should have bought this machine years ago but was unsure as it was classed as industrial and I thought it would be hard to handle. This was a total misconception on my part because it is so easy to use and I can reduce the speed to that of a domestic machine.❤️🇬🇧

may I ask it can also work with leather?
I would think if its a soft leather yes. Otherwise, if you are doing think hard leather you will need a walking foot machine.

@@farhadfadayi7389 You are so welcome. Keep in mind there are specific needles to use for leather as well as different feet to use as well. I have only used soft Italian leather so had no problem with this machine.

I wanted to HEAR and SEE the machine WORK.
The machine was on it doesn’t make a sound until you sew. Watch my tutorials on sewing for that. I have a great one in ruffles. Check that out.

That is a good question. I am not totally sure. I know you can release the feeddog and take the foot off the sewing machine and move the item around as you sew but using a specific foot..... you will have to ask either a mechanic or sewing machine salesperson for the specific machine you buy.

does it plug in to a stander house out let with out using an adapter
Yes, it has a three pronged plug and will plug in to a standard USA adapter but I recommend using a surge protector

I purchased this machine and I am having trouble getting the pressure foot to put enough pressure on my fabric. I have adjusted it down as far as it will go, and the fabric still moves easily under it
It sounds like a feed dig issue not the foot itself. I’m not a mechanic so I’m not completely sure but in order for the fabric to grip, the feed dog under the metal plate has to be up a little and strong

With the right feet and feeddog meaning the plate
The bobbin direction is not correct based on the manual.
I have this machine and I put it in clockwise as well. It works great.

Yes, it is and that is why I purchased it to use for the TH-cam videos. I wanted something that most people could relate to.

My presser foot lifter is in the pedal. Heel lightly down lifts foot, heel further down cuts thread. I have the Juki J-150 QVP because I quilt. I have the wheel casters but I haven’t put them on because I’m not sure I want to raise my machine higher. I love the machine.

I'm not a mechanic and I can't see what is actually going on with your machine the only thing I can think if are the threads might be jammed in the bobbin?

My juki DDL 8700 stops working. The light on switch is on indicates on signal but the machine doesn't work. The wheel only turn manually

AAA Ember Sewing Machines in Dunedin Florida is where I got the sewing machine. He ordered the special table from a company in Texas. I am not aware of that part.

It came with the price of the sewing machine $1000. The smaller table is great except when working on large gowns or projects:).

A size 12 will work on most fabrics. Size 14 for medium to heavy weight fabrics. Then there are denim needles and leather needles as well as knit needles. If that helps

There is no width dial because its a straight stitch machine only! If that makes sense:).
Hi, I bought a new sewing machine recently about 5 months ago, it's a ddl870 Joki company. The problem now is that the upper thread breaks really easily even on cotten type clothes, do you know why that may be? I have changed the needle numerous time but no change
Have you got the needle in facing the right way?
How many stitch do that have?
This machine only does one stitch the straight stitch. Most industrial machines are made that way.

On this machine no but you can get a fully automatic version that will do that.
