"CAPTIN MORGAN" BIG WESTERN NY HITLIST BUCK on the ground | SELF FILMED (nov. 8th)

On Nov. 8th i set out in the same area i had been hunting! knowing there was at least 2 great bucks in the area! with all the summer work done this season and more bucks in this area than ever before i knew it was just a matter of time and pressure! with my #1 buck missing for 2 weeks i opened my options and area pulling and moving cameras and tree stands multiple times a week trying to find the right spot! after several weeks of boots on the ground and moving cameras i found what i thought was the spot! Monday Nov 7th after a morning hunt i moved a stand to that spot in a open hardwoods near a known bedding area! The morning of Nov. 8th came and i was excited to get in that stand but with terrible winds i elected to go to a different stand! as he evening approached winds had once again changed and were borderline for my new set! just over one hour into the set and a few soft grunts and bleats i could hear the buck we call CAPTIN MORGAN closing the distance, and the ret is history!!
