We got a long runner we have been trying to kill. Last run we put 17 miles on my female and with 8 guys and only 1 shot fired. Actually getting pics of him on a deer while Im typing this !! Keep the coyote vids comin!

Nick, my recommendation is to use an external battery (like a battery pack for mobile phones) and wire it to the camera via the usb cable. It should run all day long. Toss a big sdcard in it and you won't have to turn it off and on, just let it record all day. I do this for my goose hunts.
I have thought about this but most days I'm hitting 9 miles easy. there is a ton of brush where we hunt here and lots of times I'm in the thick of it and I'd had to have the cord get broken or ripped out 27 times a day! As soon as I can ill be buying the DJI osmo 5 with a wireless mic and remote record button I've been told they are 100x better
I use a head strap and tuck the cord through it, down into my jacket where I put the battery. The cable doesn't seem to get in the way. The key is a nice soft flexible cable. Anyhow, keep up the coyote dog videos! I love listening to the dogs!

We actually had are first good weekend on the 5th.I live in Northeast Pa..With all that wind the previous weekend then were were hunkered down in bottoms with thick cover.
I know the feeling, gotta find those thick areas to get away from the wind!

I did a late season elk humt and the snow was deep2-4 feet are snow shoes worth it with powdery snow?
How the heck do you get some many places to hunt? I have been leasing the same old trash pile for 5 years and can't find anything else. I live in Erie County but hunt in Cattaraugus County and I have killed deer but nothing to speak of. The killer is the landowner leased the land to a guy that runs plastic lines for maple sap harvest at the same time. I can get around the stuff and the deer don't care about it but putting in food plots is tough.
It's not easy build a relationship with the landowner cater to them and give them every reason in the world to trust you! I've picked up bags apon bags of garbage other left behind i help out whenever I'm called to help I give gifts every year and I build relationships that will be talked about amongst neighbors and help me as a hunter gain permission other places. I've found dead bucks that landowners have shot and returned them to them. I could go on and on and on what I've done for landowners to build a relationship and name for myself that people associate with nothing g but good things
