The Warning is a Mexican rock band of three sisters: Dany (24) on guitar and lead vocals, Pau (22) on drums and vocals, and Ale (19) on bass and vocals. Known for their raw energy and deeply emotional lyrics, they’ve made a big name for themselves in the rock world. The band first met BAND-MAID at Aftershock Festival in 2022, and their shared passion for music led to collaborating on "Show Them" when The Warning visited Japan in June 2024. The song’s creation was a true back-and-forth process. KANAMI from BAND-MAID composed the demo, which surprised The Warning with how different it was from their usual style. The sisters worked to infuse their unique sound into the track, while BAND-MAID made adjustments to reflect both bands’ strengths. The lyrics, co-written by BAND-MAID’s Miku Kobato and The Warning, centered on themes of empowerment and rising together. Although there were initial cultural differences in interpreting the song's nuances, working face-to-face in Japan helped both bands refine the lyrics and fully align their visions. The collaboration culminated in a live performance of "Show Them" together in Tokyo, which was a highlight for fans. For a deeper dive into The Warning’s music, their 10th anniversary concert at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City is a must-watch. Opening with "Disciple," the show is packed with their signature energy and incredible stage presence.
The Warning is a Mexican band of three sisters. They have a different rock style than Band Maid but their songs are also really great. Both Bands are fans of each other and finally met in Japan and performed this composition live and also produced this MV! The songs is a compromise between the rock style of bm and tw (composed by Kanami as far as I know)
The Warning is well worth checking out. The rabbit hole is deep. "Hell You Call a Dream" live from Pepsi Center CDMX and "Automatic Sun" live from the 2024 EMAs are great songs from their new album, Keep Me Fed". "EVOLVE" from the 2023 MTV VMAs from their 2022 album, "ERROR", is also a great song. (spoiler: All of their songs are great!)
It has been said "rock and roll didn't die, it just moved to Mexico". The Warning is the best live rock power trio around. Small stage like Evolve on the VMAs, or big stage like Disciple at the Pepsi Center concert, they command a stage. Four stellar albums. They are truly a phenomenon. ⚡⚡⚡
Welcome to the fandom! Both bands are big fans of each other. BTW - there's a behind the scenes video of this collab on The Warning's channel Was lucky enough to be at their joint concert in Tokyo where they live debuted this song. Me & GF flew 6,000 miles from oHio to Japan! We spent 10 days in Japan. We stayed 5 days in Kyoto & Tokyo each with day trips to Osaka & Himeji. Was an amazing concert & trip! Was an experience we both will cherish forever! Really hoping that they release an official live video of this from that concert too! I suggest these The Warning songs: Money, Sick, Automatic Sun, Enter Sandman (with Alessia Cara), Evolve (live VMAs) & Dust To Dust (live Teatro)
In 'Manners' they have a line Our Rock Will Live Forever. There's a LIVE version paired with a real banger, 'Black Hole'. If you like The Warning I suggest 'Evolve' LIVE from the MTV Awards.
There's so much more music in the world for you to discover. The Warning is true blue rock band imo (also plays rock ballads). I'm more into Band-Maid for their diverse, unique music with lyrics that are motivational, emotional or philosophical.
Like the fabulous Band-Maid, The Warning are fantastic, especially live. Recommend their Live at Pepsi Center CDMX videos. You can start with Disciple which opened the concert. But the whole show is S!CK. The band goes hard but there are a few ballads that are incredibly poignant. You have been Warned.
Saiki really doesn't speak English - while this is essentially a Band Maid song, most of the lyrics were provided by the Warning - Saiki is singing phonetically - ie singing the sounds of the words without really understanding them - hence her heavy accent
@@IKillzUm She's learning English, so she probably knows the meaning, she can write messages in English, which is surprisingly well written, but just like majority of Japanese, she can't speak well. The same with other members. When they were interviewed by pointfest, it looked to me that they understood the questions throwned at them, but didn't know how to answer. It's a common issue among Japanese English learners.
@@johnarksey9460 Honestly her accent isn't that heavy. As a person who started learning quite recently it's actually very impressive. Did you read the birthday message Saiki wrote to Kanami in English? It was perfect.

Rock n roll dead? No, it's very much alive and thriving in Japan, and as you can see, Mexico.
Welcome to The Warning, be prepared for obsession they never make even mediocre songs each time you watch one it will be your new favourite 😂
Sub'd for more The Warning Reactions. Do some live from 2023 Pepsi Center concert
