Brilliant Interview, so relaxed and natural, From a Scot living in Nevada. for 20 years and living in Manchester before that I can relate to pretty much everything you guys were discussing. Thankyou so much for a fantastic chat.....
Funny you should say LOL (FFS) I stopped doing podcasts on TH-cam for a reason, I remember why now hahaha. Always great to chat with you, and thank you for you time, it was all going in! OOHEER! Have a great Christmas and New Year to you and yours and looking forward to future shenanigans in 2025!
Great chat Mali! And Gavin. . .glad you have maintained your passion and ethics for photography and what you present on your channel for our education and entertainment!!
A wonderful banter between the two of you. I even lasted the distance of this podcast! Gavin can be so funny, and it was nice to see him behaving normally - for once! Thoroughly enjoyed it! Enjoy both of your videos, but probably lean more towards your quieter ones, Mali😊Best wishes for a very happy Christmas and wonderful New Year from Australia!🇦🇺
I remember well your first Mali with Gavin as was around that time I found you both on TH-cam - took me on my first steps of real discovery of following ‘content providers’ deliberately not use the word ‘influencers’ (buzz word) as I don’t do social media either 👍🏻 But hey great hour or so spent listening and totally agreeing with Gavin on a few points like travelling from Scotland back across the ‘border’ to find total traffic chaos 🥴🥴 I also moved out the UK and find it hard every time I go back to enjoy the depths of the beautiful landscapes and more as a result of just the traffic!! Looking forward to both your 2025 content with bated breath even if there are times of ‘no presence’ builds up the anticipation and joy when I get the notification drop. Hope also to do another 1 2 1 Mali back up the lakes later on in the year !!
Great job, good interview. Appreciate the effort and the work that both of you do. Conversely....I found you first on IG about a year ago, and then Gavin on YT a few months back. Looking forward to seeing your next round of photos Mal.
Really enjoyed this guys. Mali, your story of Ron falling reminds me of the story... A photographer in the woods comes across a lake. He sees a man in distress in the water and he only has time to either save the man or get the shot. The question is, what lens shoul he use? 😄
Brilliant video Mali thank you to you and Gavin for it. Id love to see meet up between yourself, Gavin and Gary, three distinctive styles but three appreciative photographers that appreciate an area or scene regardless of shots they may or may not get ❤ and the banter would be top notch 🤣 Merry Christmas and a happy New year to you and yours Mali
@MaliDaviesPhotography probably not 🤣 3 shots in a 20 minute video of yous ribbing each other, outtakes and spoofs galore 🤣 but a bloody good time and a bloody good video
As an American I was soooo relieved when Gavin said the friendly folks he met in Iceland were generally Americans. It seems all I hear about are the "typical American tourists" -- loud, obnoxious and overbearing. While stereotypes usually contain at least a bit of truth (they've based on *something*, after all), most of the Americans I know aren't like that, not all the time at least LOL. In addition to being American, I'm a southern American so I've put up with my fair share (to say the least) of stereotypical assumptions and labels. Good talk!!
With Gavin being a Yorkshire man I find it hard to believe he went to Iceland and didn't shout OW MUCH! Another enjoyable watch, apart from one little bit that had the hackles rising on my neck. But 30 seconds out of 1,42.45 of watching isn't that bad.
30 seconds lol I'll take that, thanks very much for watching Iain, and I'll sithee soon, All the very best for Christmas and New year to you and all yours.
@@ronharrison5720 I was also happy your lens continued working! I felt that! Hehe Had to mention the Ron slip 🤣👍 thanks for watching, all the best to you and yours Ron, sithee soon.
For future reference, Gavin, please lose that big microphone. It is a major distraction to have that in the middle of the frame hiding your face. This is my biggest complaint with TH-camrs. There is a way to position the microphone so that it does not cover your face. Or get a lav mic or something. Otherwise, great conversation.
@@sara505sings hello Sara, thanks for watching, In mine and Gavins defence, this was originally podcast only and the audio is of the most importance. Even though this went out on TH-cam my Let’s Create interviews are still put out as audio. Both myself and Gavin understand the importance of audio, especially for a podcast. Thanks very much for the feedback here’s a link to my podcasts so you can hear the higher quality of audio. malidavies.co.uk/podcast
@MaliDaviesPhotography thank you for your reply. I love both you and Gavin and it was a pleasure to hear you both. That microphone thing keeps coming up and it drives me nuts! I'm sure that Gavin does not intend to obscure his pretty face! Keep up the great work!
Thank you very much for watching.
