You are SO right about IF you go anywhere have something installed and then God Forbid have an issue and the vendor has hit the road going to another rally. You know in life shit happens 😳that's why if I buy anything at a show I'll end up installing it myself.i
That's a good philosophy for sure!
Remember one thing, most of the places unless your buying something new/ special most shop work will only fix your bike good enough to get you back home! If you have major break down there are a few after market shops around that are cheeper than dealers.
If anyone needs info on Sturgis I'm willing to tell you what I can to help out. It took me a few trips to find cheep food, accommodations, drinking and music. Drop me a note and I'll write back.
Agreed. That’s why I do these videos, I’ve been a bunch of times and have more fun every time cause I know what not to do. I want everyone to have a good time.
My MSN account froze after I was hacked so now I'm at gmail.
Depending on where you live and inspection requirements, stockers can be like gold.
Good point! I have two sets in my garage.
How many of them 3 for $15 dollars shirts u come home with
Ha! 0. I get my Chip shirt. And maybe one other if I see something I like, but I have too many damn tee shirts as it is!
Nice channel, enjoy the one-on-one banter.
Last time I was there I thought the J & P cycles store was pretty cool.
Ya know I've never actually gone in? I've bought a ton of stuff from J&P over the years and the only store i've been in is the Daytona store. Seemed like a nice place to actually see stuff in person.
It is huge. Go upstairs to see everything. The motors and all the stuff. You can do the touchy feely thing.
@@neildewitt2869 Oh yeah, you know how I love touchy feely time!
Mustang does ship your seat back to you for free.
Loving it. You crack me up. Beer or 9.lol. good times
been to sturgis twice. once in 1999 i trailered then again in 2015 i rode from ohio. nothing better than riding to a rally if possable
Yep. Not enough time here. It’s about 5,000 miles round trip for me. That and I have an RV that I like having there.
It is a bike rally not a trailer rally!
@@neildewitt2869 yeah, yeah, yeah. It’s 5,000 miles for me round trip, I can’t take a month off of work, and even the two weeks off I need to be able to work a bit here and there. That’s why I bought a toy hauler. It’s my mobile office. As soon as I figure out how to tow 13,000 pounds with my bike I’ll do that!
@@ProfessionalMonkey I was only pulling your chain. Just look twice before pulling out to pass. I almost got taken out twice. Also watched an accident that did happen just like that.
@@neildewitt2869 Oh hell yeah. I am conservative as hell when I am pulling my RV. The flip side of that is how many freaking times someone changes lanes in front of me and slams on their brakes because they're going to miss their exit. Like they just CANNOT go behind me.
Thank u for theses videos mate
As someone who was an installer at some big events (stereos), I would NEVER let anyone install something at the event!! Not a chance! If it’s anything more than a simple 2 screws, and plug it in, sort of thing, NOPE! I can elaborate, if ya want, but it’s scary
if u make it to Singapore stop by and see us.
Will do! I am sure I will be there in the next year or so...
I did a baker 7 speed
Now you’re talking pricey!
I can go to any rally and not spend a dime. I don't just by random bs I don't need. I always think about tomorrow!
I remember first time to sturgis
Came upon black hills Harley
Thought we stop for a bathroom break
Didn’t realize what was there
All I can say is wow
Stop there a couple times when I go
The rally at 55 is awesome.
I think that would be a great idea being a travel blogger overseas.
Enjoy your videos
What is your profession ?
Basically high level glorified customer service on a global scale.
When I went to Sturgis, I almost paid to have LED accent lights installed on my StreetGlide. My buddy talked me out of it, he said "I did mine myself, it's easy". He was right, I later bought "LED Glow" lights and installed them myself. Other than food and drinks, the only thing I bought was a couple of T-shirts. These days online purchases can be delivered almost anywhere. Spend your money wisely, enjoy riding the Black Hills, avoid the vendors.
I agree 90%. I still like seeing in person what the latest trends are. Also sometimes good deals. I get my riding in for sure...
@@ProfessionalMonkey I hear ya. If you have some extra money everyone likes a souvenir.
Great info man and good channel gave you a sub.
Grassy ass!
You cracked me up with the comment on your wife’s car!
It's an ongoing struggle...
@@ProfessionalMonkey That damn trash truck got me, too funny.
I really want go but the travel ban wont let me in . Its on my to do list .
No mention of the biker artists, pinstriping superstars…?
Really good point.
Great videos
Thanks!
Dude, are you sure the CIA is going to let you Vlog while traveling? 😎
Cant wait going to be my first. From buffalo ny
What an epic ride. Mine from South Florida it’s a really boring trip. 2,400 miles, but only about 150 miles of it is nice to look at...
@@ProfessionalMonkey I just want to say I rode to sturgis next time will be in my friends motor home its 1500 from buffalo stright 90 not big on the Thruway but 10 of us are going only three are riding all the way going to be a blast
@@josephsalzman1166 that’s gonna be amazing. Make sure you pack all the gear, I’ve seen some pretty cold rainstorms, and crazy winds along the way, even in August.
Niagara county here, hope to see you there. If you don’t have that bills flag up we might pass you by.
Just be sure to take it easy. Its first timers that have most of the accidents at Sturgis. Just a heads up.
Some people just don't want sh#t, laying around, so they toss it
Hey Brother
I started watching your videos a couple of days ago
I enjoy them a lot
I did notice you saying you are involved with a group who lookout for children
I also am involved with the same group
I’m State P in West Virginia
If you want give me a shout, you know how we do this
Thanks
Yes sir!!! 2.1.3.1. 24/7/365! Sawgrass Chapter VP. I'll send you a note...
Good Video 👍🏽👍🏽
LOL I like bud light but that's funny....1.50 upgrade..hahhahaha
RIGHT? Bud light is an UPGRADE?
1. Finding out your real address: Really creepy.
2. Renting an actual military tank: Fucking expensive.
3. Waiting for you to record a video: Super fucking creepy and psychopathic.
4. Your response: Would definitely be worth it.
Oh god that would be the funniest thing on earth. Just another day at the monkey house....
Great video , will look for you there in 21 ,bring the Glock's !
Always prepared...
Why? Sturgis is neutral ground. Ive gone every year since 2010 except ladt year because of lock down in Alaska and Canada would let be go through. Never needed a gun. Never seen anyone that needed one either. That includes the H.A. 's, Bandidos or any of the other 1% clubs that show up. All a weapon is going to do is cause you problems.
@@neildewitt2869 I carry every day, all day. It’s just a habit now. I have never needed one at any rally but just like rain gear, if you have it you won’t need it. Forget it and all hell will break loose.
if you come to Thailand there's a Chang Beer waiting for you
I hope to! Probably next year.
Get used to rip off prices long lines. Cops everywhere no thanks been there done that.
Sounds just like Daytona
The trash truck rofl
Like a damn Sherman was rolling through the neighborhood...
Hey! I drink Bud, lol
Ha! I knew that would get a ride out of someone.
MGD is about the only beer unless you have German beer i like to drink anylonger!
@@neildewitt2869 we have a local microbrewery here that have a hefeweizen as good as anything I have had in Germany. Its frigging out though for several months!
I’ll be a first timer getting cherry 🍒 popped this year.
Me too, can't hardly wait. My dad said f' it I'm going to Sturgis, wanna go. I said hell yes I wanna go!! It's not a short journey from bama but the journey is half the fun!
@@jeffhastings3463 same, riding it with my dad as well from Oklahoma.
I will never buy S&S anything. I have one of their motors that is nothing but trouble. Not little trouble, big trouble.
Bummer...
Dig your dry humor bro
