In today's episode i am going to show you how you can convert your Hp inkjet printer into an ink tank printer with a CISS Kit (continuous ink supply system )
A ciss is an external ink tank that supplies ink to the cartridges inside through very small rubber flexible tubes. In this way the cartridges never run out of ink and keeps on working flawlessly, how ever there is a catch , you have to keep the ink tank at a certain level as the cartridges. If you keep the ink tank a little high then the cartridge will overflow with ink which means that the ink will simply start dripping from the printing heads and spill in the interior and if you keep the ink tank lower then the cartridge level then the ink will not flow into the cartridge and while printing you will see missing printing areas in the page. so the height has to be some were in the middle.

Ciss kit installed and works perfectly but after a couple of months the HP stops printing the problem is not with the cartridges but HP blocks the cartridges that are being re-used. And no amount of printer resets does the job. I have HP desk jet 3830, and I haven't found a solution to that. Ultimately to print I had to buy new cartridges after which it started printing normally. Now my question is how does one clear the ink level memory from the printers motherboard ???
look for service tool . its there for canon, just chk it works with hp or not..

Yes , it will fit in all types of printers .
Can you mix Dye ink Prints with Pigment inks??? Say I ran out of Pigment inks then I buy Dye ink and then can i use this in the ciss system? I am new to this ciss.
No they can not be interchanged as the inkjet cartridge works with the principle of thermal DOD (drop on demand) or Piezoelectric DOD which requires a special type of ink.
However it might work but proceed at your own risk.

Yes, its a generic kit. Fits most printers but you have to be creative to install it.

depends on your requirement with 100 ml you can use 1000-5000 pages

@@NASIB8484 no your printer will print upto page count which is mentioned in cartidge .
For example :- hp 680 black will max 480 pgs even you refill or install ciss.simce chip is present in cartidge , after 480 pgs cartidge will show cartidge failure

I bought inktank printer 1 yr old , have print odd 3000 pages ,still black ink 70% and colour at 80% remaining.

Dont buy. Ur cartidge will not work after u crossed the mentioned page count of your cartidge and even you refill or do ciss , cartidge error will be present and you have to buy a new one.
For example :- hp 680 black cartidge can give max 480 pgs , if your printer crossed 480 printout then cartidge will get failure even if you refill
