  • HP integrated cartridges are the ones with printhead built-in with the cartridge, such as HP 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68 ... Once the cartridge is depleted, HP allows you to keep printing. However, HP will not show ink level anymore. To take this advantage, we modified an OEM cartridge and make it a spongeless refillable cartridge.
    Product used: bchtechnologies.com/modificat...
    Required Tools:
    Sandpaper (prefer 150 grit)
    Heavy-Duty Utility Knife
    Two rubber bands
    Super Glue
    Long-nose plier

    New version product link: tinyurl.com/y72vsa4f We made some improvement of the cover after making this video: 1) the pressure regulator is smaller, no longer a bulky circular assembly. 2) The cover is transparent so we can check how much ink is inside.

    I used my cellphone to take pictures as I go along with a project so I can refer back to them if necessary. Taking pictures works for lots of things: printer cartridges, replacing the clutch cable on your motorcycle, replacing an electric socket, working on the car, etc. And for black things I want to mark permanently (like a printer cartridge), I write with a white out pen (which works great for labeling spark plug wires and where the go on the distributor cap, too).

    I assume that if you let the ink to start banding no matter how much ink you put in but the nozzle seemed to not clogged( dripping with fresh ink), there are something else that I guess is air bubbles between nozzle and reservoir, the priming clip suction is primary tool, you don't have to take out the sponge, give it a good succ with the tool after you fill it to near overfill, everytime you let the cartridge to be too empty you have to do this again, fill regularly before banding starts
    additionally, sometimes the electronic pins don't recognize the often-reinsterted self-refilled cartridges and just say that it's broken, swab those pins on the printer and cartridge with a contact cleaner, snap the cartridge with confident back to the carriage.
    at least there's no 1x install chip like old Epson, that was awful

    Your method worked like a charm for my HP Deskjet 2645. Unfortunately it developed a false paper jam problem and although there is no paper or leftover paper parts in it I couldn't get it working again. Your video about another model was informative, but this piece of junk is not even similar, A video for this model for checking the sensors would be greatly appreciated. Although the disassembly of the top part is easy and the insides is seen clearly, I don't want to go further without some information. I will probably junk it and never get an HP in the future.

    Something about this that's more of a problem is ... The fact that more and more HP printers are starting to refuse cartridges that they think are empty, often without any ways to reset it or force it to continue printing whatsoever (yes, even with the cartridges filled to the brim with refilled ink)

    • @nikkiparis5399

    • @leunca
      @leunca 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@nikkiparis5399 You can't do anything with HP. Even if it has been refilled until the ink is full, if the ink is still read empty and cannot be used to print, the only option is to purchase a new cartridge.
      Canon and Epson are simple; simply use the "resetter" software after refill, and the ink is detected as full. Canon and Epson cartridges can be refilled indefinitely until they are damaged.
      Buy HP if you rarely print, buy Canon or Epson if you print often.

      @@leuncaI have an HP 8025e and I’ve had no problem with refilling the original cartridges which came with printer. So far. You get a pop up message from HP before you install their HP+ software (which gives you 6 months of free HP ink) saying you won’t be able to EVER use 3rd party cartridges once you install their HP+ software. And it was suggested by a TH-camr to turn of “automatic updates” on my printer otherwise I might find that my refilled HP cartridges will suddenly stop working. My only concern is if my HP cartridges which I refill ever get damaged and I have to buy new cartridges if I would have to update my printer’s software in order to use the new cartridges whether they’re 3rd party or HP. And if doing so if I will no longer be able to use 3rd party cartridges and / or refill my HP cartridges.

      If you have high temperature ATV red silicone what you can do is you could essentially use back to fill the all if you've made it. Once it dries you can essentially use a needle poke it through and inject your ink and pull it back out it's almost like a self-sealing membrane. People use it when growing mushroom spores in jars. Keeps everything sterile and keeps others board from getting in while the culture start

The orange cartridge light just keeps blinking after the refill. Soulcommander yeah mine alway dripping

    • @BCHTechnologies
      @BCHTechnologies  5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      That's because they filled it too much. There is a very thin sponge inside which can only hold a few drops of ink. If you fill it too much, it will drip out. However, no worries, the excessive ink won't hurt anything unless you let it dry on the printhead. You can use the printer's self-cleaning function twice and then left the cartridge in the printer. The excessive ink will flow out and the cartridge should be working again. Some people let the ink dry on the printhead and created clogging so they will need to unclog it. Rule of thumb: if you can see the ink coming out, it is too much.

    How do you know the date of a cartridge? I have about 5 empty ones and would like to refill the most recent ones, so as i dont fill a very old one and the sponge be dried out and leak all over the printer.

    A solid video. Many thanks. I have a HP 3720 printer and the color cartridge has run out. It looks small (hence comparatively expensive). Was wondering if I could fill it with 3rd party ink and how.

    Instead of a super glue, how about using and epoxy? it's way more manageable right? and a longer time of operation unlike the super glue which feels so crucial.
