"What a Feeling" is more than just a song; it's an emotional journey that lifts the spirit and ignites determination with every note. From the opening chords, it transports you to a place of hope and optimism, where dreams are within reach and goals are attainable. Irene Cara's powerful and emotive voice guides the journey, conveying a message of empowerment and perseverance. Each word resonates with tangible passion, reminding you that you are capable of overcoming any obstacle and achieving your boldest dreams. The melody envelops you like a warm embrace, infusing strength and courage into your heart as you immerse yourself in its unforgettable tune. This song could be number one on today's lists. The quality is not improvised. The garbage of today does not compare in anything with the music of those times.
You are right 1000000%
You’re absolutely right.
Today’s songs are shallow and empty .”Easy comes easy goes.”
Amen
I agree 100%...
Arnando Santander absolutely true
This woman was a gift to us from God. Perfect voice, beauty dancing and all around blessing to behold. RIP Sweet Lady, and Thank You for the beautiful music you gave to us. We will Not Forget You.
Hello Debbie
How are you doing today?
Yes yes!!! ❤❤❤
compulsive, compelling, hypnotising, soulful, passionate, beautiful, unforgettable. Wow...such energy and beauty. Irene Cara had it all. Boy i miss the 80s..i now realise how lucky i was growing up back then as a teenager. Shame it only had a smattering of applause at the end. This is one of the very best out for getting you out of your seat and just letting it rip!!. God bless you Irene Cara
Linda e excelente cantora! Descanse em paz 🌹❤️
Que rosto meigo, angelical dessa mulher. Simplicidade, porém repleta de talento. Isso sim é uma verdadeira artista. Anos 80 melhor época.
Verdade puro talento
🇵🇷🙏❤🎶🎵🎼¡ Y DE RAÍCES PUERTORRIQUEÑAS¡!🥁🎻
E sem ser pornográfica! Como muitas aí
@@williemartinez8384 Vivo Irena! Mucho talento!

We will keep dancing for you Irene. The impact this song has had is priceless. Thank you ❤❤❤
AWESOME BREAK DANCING.
And 1983 was definitely the PEAK of the BREAKIN era
No half naked singer or back up dancers just pure solid musical entertainment!
Ruben Dfelgadillo
She doesnt even have auto tune or fake boobs.
She can give Beyonce, Mary j and them hip hop artist some singing lessons
She is wearing a sheer top showing her nude coloured top lol.
Yeah, I miss those half naked dancers!
Great Song by a Great Singer RIP Irene Cara
Musical words are in her voice so naturally an instrument only the best have!
A song that sums up everything that was awesome about the 80’s
No aids and crack epidemic is the 80's
The MDA Telethon is/was awesome, too or alsomeso. (some of us Hillbillies pronounce it "Alsome" or "All-Some" we cannot Spell, either. It's an Academic Epidemic, Hillbilly style, i tells ya. My Hillbilly brethren is all cracked, up, about it. The Hatfields wont gives the McCoys no learnin AIDS and the McCoys wont gives them consarned Hatfields no learnin AIDS, so they "86"ed each n other. Alsome!
One of my favorite songs of all time. Such a beautiful voice she had. R.I.P Irene
Hello Jennifer
How are you doing today?
She seems so underrated. To most people this is just a theme song. To me this is a piece of art!
Underrated,No! From 1980 thru 84 she was the most celebrated entertainer of her era.She could do it all.Dance, sing and act.She has won every award that can be bestowed upon anyone in show business.Oscar, Grammy and Golden globe.
This became the female Rocky theme of that era.
Gracias Irene 😪

Such a loss...what a talent...what a voice!! I pray the good lord will grace us with the likes of Ms. Cara again!!
Shes beautiful lovely hair, women were so natural back then.
I really miss those times
Women looked a lot better in the 1980's than now.
damn right, gorgeous girl
Me,too.I miss those time,too.
No tattoos or facial piercings... makes all the difference.
There will never be a decade like this. No one can emulate the 80's. Or the memories they left as a legacy.
Amein
@Curtis Porter Trump was famous back then too and he looked hella good now everyone hates him and he looks like a wrinkled orange
Except for the 60's & 70's
RIP beautiful Irene.
I'd been playing this song alot over the past month. I remembered what a powerful uplifting song it is, works miracles when you feel blue. So it was a shock to hear the news. She'll brighten heaven for sure.
RIP

Absolutely ❤ 💯
A song that defines the 80s decade in an extraordinary way. Irene will forever be remembered.
This is without a doubt the best performance I've seen. This girl has charm and talent❤ Misses the 80s wildly🤔
It’s a lip sync.
@@Dakotaandpacha In a performance you perform. lip sync or not..
@@Dakotaandpacha did she sing it or not? She won Grammys and lots of awards. Question is can you sing? How many songs have you done. Just too many toxic people on the earth. Give kudos to people who can .
WASN'T THE VACCINE SHE TOOK? SHE BELIEVES TOO MUCH IN THE CDC, GOVERNMENT, AND DOCTORS WHO IMPOSE FEAR ABOUT THE COVID-19 TO PUSH PEOPLE TO TAKE THE STUPID VACCINE.
---- I HAD FAMILY MEMBERS WITH 88 YEARS OLD WITHOUT ANY VACCINE AND HAD COVID, SO WE GET COVID( I MEAN EVERYBODY), AND WE ARE STILL ALIVE. SO WHAT THE HELL WITH THE VACCINE?
--- HOW MANY VACTERIES, MICROVIOUS, VIRUSES, DO WE HAVE AROUND SINCE WE ARE BORN AND THE BODY ADAPTS TO SURVIVE?
---- PEOPLE SCARE AND BELIEVE EVERYTHING THE MEDIA, TV, NEWS, AND IGNORANT OR EVIL DOCTORS SAYS, AND THEN THEY RUN LIVE CAWS TO DO ANYTHING TOO FAST.
---- WHO GOING TO LIVE FOREVER?----- WHY BE AFRAID OF LIVING OR DYING? ----- OUR LIFE IS PENDING BY A THREAD OF COTTON. WHO CONTROLS THE HEARTBEAT?
----- ANYONE CAN SAY WHEN WE WILL DIE? BE YOUR OWN BOSS, AND DON'T FOLLOW PEOPLE.
Que día triste. Gracias por tu hermosa música y bella voz. Enorme Irene que descanses en paz
Love the breakdancing in the background and Irene sang like an angel. Take me back for a day to the 80s pleaaaase!!!
For a day? If I could go back there, I wouldn't come back... Heils NO! The 80s was like the the 50s, one of those great decades when everything was going right. And then the Clintons mucked it up afterwards. 😠
The 80's a gift of God.
Yes Indeed 👨🏻🏫🕊
You do realize older people say that about the 50's, the 60s, the 70's...
agree... economically and politically too.. that was around the time when the Cold War was about to end too.
Ronald Reagan could have sparked a nuclear Armageddon. Very dangerous times, with elderly, frail & paranoid leadership in the Kremlin. (Brezhnev Chernenko Andropov)
Irene Cara, born march 18 1959. Great singer, songwriter, dancer and actress.
Best of the 80's
@draco-draco ...she has a group where she mentors young singers now.
Dancer???
@@jjryan1352 she is in the group.HOT CARAMEL.Great group.Very very talented. But the music industry has her blacklisted due to her suing and winning against the music industry for stealing from her.
She should do masked singer
