I just do some light coat of 205 on all the stem plus the bottom housing railings. oh and I didn’t lube the stem legs, since the client want that tactile scratch feeling of cherry tactiles
@byake I didn’t clean it cause the prelube is only outer portion of the holes on the bottom housing, like the prelube is just so that the spring doesn’t pings. as long as It doesn’t get to the bottom housing holes or side rails. You’re pretty much fine.
👀👍!
the scratch is addicting in a way that i cant describe.
it really is! especially the num row part It’s so nice I had to do it one more time HAHAHA
I've had these switches a while and have been wanting to try them! Thanks for the inspiration. Definitely some of that Cherry scratch
Glad I could help! these switches are lovely, I really like them. Too bad they have those stem problems.
That scratch is amazing!
couldn’t agree more hahaha
So clean! I have some mx purples coming in the mail, I'm so hyped! How do would compare them to cherry mx browns, or even ergo clears?
I haven’t try out ergo clears. But compared to mx browns, they are pretty similar in sound. Purples are just slightly more tactile than browns.
mx purples are so fire
aside from the stem problem thingy, they are amazing!
Sounds really nice
Sound amazing
Hey! Nice video, just wondering, do you use grip under the mouse so it doesn't drag?
oh no, I use a mousepad usually. I just remove it when I’m doing recording, for aesthetic purposes. That’s all hahaha
jeez your clients rly love alas lol
alas
They are very happy with alas hahahaha I didn’t expect alas would be the board I build the most 😂
i love my alas so much, though the front height is soo high because of the front bumpons
yea I agree, I have to adjust my typing position different than usual because of the front height
does mx purple has its typing feel being similar to mx brown ?
mx purple does feel more tactile, but the difference isn’t that drastic
how is it compared to mx brown?
sound wise they are quite same. I feel mx purples are slightly louder. Very slightly. It does feel more tactile than mx
browns.
how did u lube these purples? they sound great
