This just shows that people are overreacting to the fact that the iPhone 14 only has a A15 chipset instead of the A16. The performance is virtually the same. More important than that is that the iPhone 14 has better ram management and it has an extra core in the GPU department and not to mention the thermal cooling system that the iPhone 13 does not have.People only focus on what they want.
This really opend my eyes i was about to buy the Iphone 14 pro but seeing this i strongly am questioning my choice both phones are pretty much the same in speed. The A16 chip doesnt really make it faster with every day tasks and why should you pay 300 euro more for just 120 hz and a better camera ? .
Yeah, in the US the price difference is $200 so more may think it's worth it but the only really notable difference is in the cameras. The Pro can take better zoomed in photos and if you like working with RAW photos, it can take those and ProRes video. That all sounds great but the vast majority of people will not be utilizing those much and the improved quality will be lost once you upload to standard social media. Those also are only for 256GB and up models, 128GB doesn't allow them. The 120 Hz display difference is barely noticeable, I compared both side by side for awhile and I noticed on the Pros the initial scrolling speed started slower, which I think deceives people into thinking it's a lot smoother. It has to be some sort of intentional trick they added to the iOS code on the Pros. When you get to a part where the scrolling is at the same speed, you can barely tell the 120 Hz is smoother. Most videos and games are also set to 60 fps, not 120, so the screen updating 120 times likely won't make much of a difference for those. Then there's the notch, which most apps don't make use of and it kid of sticks out more.
@@the_letter_b its because apple not using dedicated 120hz but LTPO means it can drop to 1 hz until 120 hz different with base that have dedicated 60 hz, i think thats just Ios problem because os also playing part on refresh rate
