Beautifully described and demonstrated. Thank you! I have just had a complete revelation about what I have been struggling with for years! I have been puttin* the bailing pliers in the wrong spot. You are a life saver. Thank you!
I love your little tips and tricks for making equal number of loops on each side of the wire. Im definitely going to try including those and see if they help me.
Oh my goodness, I've watched a fair few wire wrapping tutorials, all different, all good, but yours has just clicked with me straight away. You've made it so easy to understand and as you say, they are professionally done. I can't wait to try this out with different beads. You are a 'gem', thank you for sharing 💜
I've come across several tutorials for Rosary making, but the finish on the loops lacked a certain "aesthetic". And then I found this. 😊 Katie, you provide a well explained tutorial than is perfectly paced. You provide exactly what one needs to create loops that are easy enough for the beginner, but also exhibit a level of artistry that I couldn't find elsewhere. Thank you! If you haven't realized it yet, you're truly a wonderful teacher! Pax!!
Katie, your demo's are so clear, comprehensive and easy to follow! Are you a 'leftie'? I am, and I don't think I've ever seen someone wrapping with their left hand before. Lovely demo, thanks xx
Sharon Green Hi lovely, thank you very much for your kind comments 😊 I’m right handed, but when I’m making rosary links I prefer to hold my pliers with my right and wrap with my left. But always go with what feels right for you xx
Thankyou for your talent shared. This is my first time for learning so thankyou. Over and over I must watch. Do you have any videos for making chain links?
Beautiful work! thank you for such a clear tutorial! I am not consistent in my wire wrapping, and do it with a round nose plier, and lots of times the chain have kinks in them. Is it because the loops are not perfectly round?
Hi Dawn, it could be because your loops aren’t round or it could be the loops on each side are not level with each other. Maybe check through your links and check that each link has the loops level with each other at each side. Thank you 😊
No, after 10 years I’ve only had the occasional piece discolour. I prefer to use high quality wire. In fact most of the pieces I sell are made with bare copper and I love the look of the patina, thanks 😊
Beautiful tutorial! Perfectly paced. Thank you so much.
You are so welcome!
