First look at the Tier VI Premium Pan-Asian Destroyer, Fenyang. It's more or less another copy/paste of Akizuki, and it seems pretty strong. #wowslegends #xarkun

"Toe to toe" is tricky. The Kidd should probably win against this thing in a close in knife fight, especially if it's driven by a good player. But this thing is basically one of the best T7 gunboats in the game at T6 with less DPM, so it's pretty potent. The Kidd I sank in this match was not full health and it wasn't a true 1 v 1, but I wouldn't have been concerned about if it were full HP. I think this thing is pretty strong.
My Fenyang has 4.6 km detect range. Torps reload time is around 43 sec but with my setup gun reload time is 5.5 sec. Speed is around 36-38 knots with flag.
Weird. It's always tricky anglicizing words for other languages, because English rules for vowel sounds are... either inconsistent or just nonexistent. I don't really know which.

Question is: Fenyang with Zhenbing or Cossack '38 with Shiroko? A comparison between them would be nice. 🤔 Many players forget about the Cossack '38 with the 8x127mm guns. Reload is i think at least 1 second better than Fenyang.
Definitely Fenyang. I haven't tried the Cossack with Shiroko to be fair, but I'm pretty confident in that. Cossack 38 is a sad ship. I love the Cossack on WoWs PC. Once of my favorite ships in that game, so my opinion on it is colored by personal bias. But it's a T8 premium on PC, equivalent to our T7. And both versions we have are neutered versions of what that thing is on PC.
Shiroko is a top tier commander…she has rejuvenated all the English destroyers…the Cossack 38 and Lighting are now incredibly dangerous for her tier…this commander on the Druid (coming out soon with steel) is going to be completely OP.
I have a feeling people will struggle to play this ship, considering how many people I hear saying the Akizuki is a bad ship. It's not a bad ship, but it's also not the easiest DD in the world to play. Skill issues do plenty of balancing in this game, though. Just ask Lushun's spreadsheet numbers.
@8shkay Def a love hate relationship...only one I have is kirisame which is cool but I don't do nearly as well with it as yudachi. Skill issue forsure but I think you're right about deep water torps not being favorable
Jervis is giving me the best won % atm at around 75% solo so until that begins to drop… I’ll think about the Fenyang. Jervis win% is the best atm per tier. I need to rack up 100 games before I call it accurate

I would honestly run this ship with Deng Shichang and build for mobility. Most Pan Asian DDs are better if you build for mobility and agility.

Deng Shechang over Zhenbing, it's a Pan Asian DD that suffers from mobility and speed, so build for it and you will have success.

My Akizuki is like between 2.5and3.5 seconds I can't remember off the top of my head ok I looked 2.7
Not having a 4th mod slot kinda sucks though
If it had a 4th mod and could use the reload mod, it would be completely broken at this tier. It would just be an Akizuki with different torps.
