The biggest difference is that the Mazda is not a CVT ...........otherwise their numbers are very very close..............I bought a Mazda a couple years ago because it was cheaper..............so far it's been a good purchase..............coming from a long time Honda owner...............I'd definitely buy a Mazda again
How much do you pay for gas monthly comparing both?
Honestly you lose a little bit of fuel economy with the auto but it really isn’t that much, but overall I’d rather have the Mazda in the select sport trim, which is most likely what I’m going to get because it’s in the sweet spot in the 3’s range
Thank you………. very informative
Are mazdas more reliable than honda?
@@catworld0968 Much more now than during Trump years.
The Mazda just aces the styling, not only for its price but for all price ranges. There are luxury cars that look worse than this.
The civic and mazda3 are the only truly competitive Japanese compact sedans. That shouldn’t surprise anyone since Mazda and Honda know how to execute their cars to perfection
100%
Chetta don’t forget about the Mitsubishi Mirage G4, has more rear legroom than the Mazda 3 and a lot cheaper and has an industry leading 10 year warranty. New Mirages also come with 2 years of complimentary maintenance unlike the Mazda 3. New Mirages are also made in Asia unlike Mazda 3 which is made in Mexico
@@johnkonde1975Mazda 3 is MADE IN JAPAN 🇯🇵 I got one.
@@teikken Mazda 3 is also made in Salamanca Mexico
@@johnkonde1975No need for a 10-year warranty if the car is well-built. I went for maintenance four times in two years with my Mazda3, costing me a total of around $500 CAD, which is not even worth mentioning. And all my Hondas and Mazdas passed 200K km with regular maintenance. A freaking Mitsubishi will rarely pass 200K km without big repairs. Rear leg rooms? Have you look even around when driving? Most people are alone! in their car.
I just bought the 2024 Mazda 3
Who cares lol 😂 , any one can buy a car these days
So how is it so far?

Mazda for me....
Top dogs in the class for sure! Anxiously waiting for a refreshed 3. The fresher tech and restyle swayed me to a Civic Touring hatch. While I have no complaints, I really want to try Mazda.
mazda rocks!! does no wrong
I would like to see Mazda take a crack at a true Type R competitor. Until then, it’s Honda for me.😊
U couldn’t handle 315 HP 🤣 those Hondas are ugly mazda3 all day
I drove both and went for Mazda3. It feels more luxurious, fun to drive. More importantly, it fits all age categories. Civic is great too, but seems to be a first car for college.
I want to trade my Mach e for this. It looks so good and am finding I need a gas car this time around
So you wouldn't recommend a new driver to get a Mazda
@@JaydenPrinc I definitely would if one wants to keep the vehicle for a long time. My point was when one gets past age 26 they may feel a Civic is no longer a good style. Mechanically it's excellent.
@@vahabkhademi2142 see me personally I never like the civic feel in driving he don't like fast cars but I think he like the way Mazda feels
Both are excellent cars. The mazda makes me think of picasso, mona lisa, stradivarius. The honda makes me think of washing machine, vacuum cleaner, hair dryer.
🤣🤣
🤣😂🤣😂
MAzda it's best cars brand rigth now price - quality
Mazda all the way better looking car.
The Corolla is still the sales and reliability king. My 2017 Civic hatchback is sharp looking and fun to drive, but it had electrical and paint issues. Coupled with the dealer experience dealing with those issues will probably keep me from buying another Honda. My Mazda cx-5 has been bulletproof.
Corolla boring to drive
But the corolla is just beyond mediocre in every category
Hatchback and sharp looking don’t correspond especially on the Corolla and I own one so💀
Its the king because most average people NPC get it because its simple and reliable. But mediocre
Why compare hatch to sedan? WHY!
Why would you compare a hatchback vs sedan
Because of the price. What else?
That's funny because the mazda 3 hatchback starts at 25,690 not 24k. So right around the civic hatchback starting at 24,950.
Mazda Turbo AWD all the way
Turbo manny
People always talk about Honda and Toyota but never Mazda. And let me tell you. The Mazda is better than both. They don’t have the same revenue as Honda or Toyota so they can keep their prices slightly lower even though their cars are way better and preform way better
If Mazda stretched the 3 by 12 inches and called it the 6, they could compete with the Acccord and Camry.
Mazda more beautiful ❤❤
Mazda all the way
Excellent video!
Mazda is made in japan
Honda is made in Zimbabwe?
Mazda3 Still?
Civic la..
Boooo
Thanks. I am not a driving enthusiast. In fact, I am engaged in the war on cars {trademark). But I prefer a manual transmission.
How is the forte?
Kias suck dude. Where have you been?
Forte is cheaper than the Corolla, Civic, and Mazda 3 so it’s the smart no brainer option
@@johnkonde1975Yeah, until it gets stolen by an Upstanding Citizen.
Kia's are junk, talk real with any mechanic, their more than disposable
