With my golden pothos I've had pretty good success doing the single leaf water propagation. A interesting story. I got clippings from a friend of mine. We both her plant was a golden pothos. I did notice that most of the leaves on her plant were solid green and that was because the plant just didn't get that great of sunlight. But I got about 10 or so clippings water propagate them. And had them growing in a hanging planter. Also in a room in my house that doesn't get good sunlight. 😆 I had it in there for about a year and it really didn't do much of anything. He clearly wasn't very happy there. So I moved him to the back porch. He gets indirect bright light now. I caught him off with some of my homemade compost. And gave him a good soaking in some compost tea. So in a few short days he put out some new pale green leaves. It kind of freaked me out at first. I was worried that maybe it was getting sick or something. But the new leaves were very healthy-looking, and the old leaves where healthy-looking. I feel like he just revealed his true self to me now that he's happy. And I'm pretty sure that sucker is a neon pothos!!! I tried to tell my husband how exciting this was. And I got the typical guy responds. "Right on, babe." 😆 So I figured I'd share it with you. Being that you're a plant person like me.

Hi, I’m new to your channel, my channel is new. I haven’t had luck propping neon pothos for some reason. They just seem to start molding, I even dip the clippings in rooting hormone.
I'm kinda worried about my neon pothos and wonders if anyone knows what I could do; it's wilting, the leaves are turning yellow, it's not growing, and it's not putting out any new leaves. I've tried watering less, I've tried watering more, I've tried putting it closer to the window, and I've tried putting it further away from the window. I've even tried repotting it/changed the soil mixture because I was thinking that maybe the soil was too water retaining, and it perked up for a while, but now it's turning yellow again (and I've been very careful to not give it too much water after repotting it). When I repotted it the roots looked fine and didn't look like they were rotting. It's odd because I have a golden pothos in roughly the same light and it's growing a lot.
Maybe just pick a nice bright spot,, and give it time to adjust. How is your humidity? Maybe its starting to get dry in the air, try a pebble tray with water, underneath it. Just be sure it's not sitting in water. Hope this helps.

I do leaf cuttings one leaf all the time they come out wonderfully
Not sure what plants my parents have hanging on the porch but they bloom little purple flowers. Two years and they’re still striving. :)

Thanks! I think your neon should be ok, they can tolerate low light, if it looks like it's not doing well, just move it closer to the window again!

Every time I clip my neon pothos the spots turn brown and the whole thing rots... it only happens with the neon pothos do you know why??
