you TOTALLY ROCK! I have an otterbox commuter case on my phone... my phone didn't work with the case on. I just removed the rubber ringer [only] and now I can use my wireless fast charger on my desk!! I was about to return my fast charger!! thank you!! thank you!!
Thank you for this video. I bought the original Samsung wireless charger for my new S6 but it would not work with the case I had on my phone. Without the case it was fine but I wasn't about to keep taking the case off just to charge it. So, after watching the video, I removed the outer clear plastic shell from the charger which was just enough to make everything work. I also decided to further help it along by removing the double sided tape holding the wire coil to the base and allowing the wire coil to push up against the top cover lessening the distance. Many thanks, this worked even though the case on my model charging pad is slightly different - i had to remove the entire top with the Samsung logo and silicone ring (which is stuck onto the Samsung plate), and then just reattach the plain black plastic plate underneath with the four tiny little screws, but it did the trick and the charger now works with my new case. The funny thing is that while this circular pad stopped working when i put the new case on, my other pad which is square still works fine. Oh well. Thanks again!
Thanks for the tip. I don't have to take off the case (Spigen 2 card holder case) to charge my S7 Edge. Also I covered the LED's with a little bit of black tape so that it doesn't light up the room at night. Also I had to glue it back together as the screws no longer fitted without the clear plastic top cover.
Hey man mine does not work . And when i plug in the wireless charger star blinking blue, then green and them both color at the same time. How can i fix that?
It's not a fake as it's the international model as the electronic are a tad bit different in it but this charger will work on the International Note 5 with no issues.
+Henry Dinh, Try to read his message one more time. The original Samsung Fast Charger has the USB cable port ABOVE the "Samsung" logo. And in the video he has the port BELOW the Samsung logo, from the bottom of the inscription.
+James M u tried helping.. but the mind wishes not to accept. Funny, even if its fake.. aren't they all made in china (well most)? So the difference maybe is slave labor vs the hustle and labor folk.. and we enable all of them. By the way dp they have a fan in them? I notice the issues with these wireless charging gadgets with no heat sink and fan to keep them cooler..
Why modify the dam thing to make it work. If I buy the product I expect it to work or take the dam thing back and get a replacement or money back. Having to screw around with it just enables the manufacturer to produce junk.

I found that if you turn off fast charging in the phone functions it works. no pausing at all S8 and Samsung charger disc.
