This is the worst thing I'm living with and I swear on my knees pleading I was concerned for my friends sobriety and I realized how much this person is lost and I forgive myself for not praying enough for her and neglecting her so many times I should have been with her but I was selfish with my time now I'm facing losing my freedom i pray i have enough left to get thru this but my is broken now only time will tell. What rights does the State claim were violated in order to prosecute? The victim is the one who had their rights violated.

The state statute gives the choice to the state attorney not to the victim.
