    Just make sure, if you have a Calendar Call, that you show up. Unless you have it in writing that you don't have to be there, you had better make an appearance. If you're supposed to be there and don't make an appearance, the judge will issue a bench warrant for your arrest.

      Thank you for your question. Yes, this is the court process for simple misdemeanor battery. In general, most criminal cases in the judicial system will follow a similar journey as Adam describes in the video. Even if the charge is a felony, a lot of the court process remains the same.
