    Here's the Level 2 (nema 10-30) I used to charge the 4XE : amzn.to/43MKEno
    Here's another that might work with your socket: amzn.to/42K1ou3

    I’m loving this concept and I do really like a Jeep (owned 2) BUT I’m also a person who keeps a vehicle for 10 plus years and 150k miles easy and the history, longevity and maintenance of these vehicles are still in the gray area..I just can’t pull the lever on the concept without the long term stats. ❤ the video, great info.

    I had this on my list for my next car, but kicked it out. The electric only range is way too low compared to all the competitors. 28 miles was a decent average for phevs 5 or so years ago, but today's average is 40 miles.

    • @fotenks
      @fotenks ปีที่แล้ว +3

      90% of commutes are between 1 and 30 miles, so that 28 mile electric range is just right.

    I find it fascinating how different the expectations/opinions are between Australia and the US. I recently watched an Australian review of the top level trim Grand Cherokee L that’s offered there. It was just over $105k which is around $72k here. They repeatedly commented how the interior quality was nowhere near what’s expected in a vehicle of that price. It was average quality at best. Yet…you watch the vast majority of reviews from the US(including this one) and they gush and swoon over Jeep’s quality. I’m not sure if it’s a bias towards Jeep in the US or a bias against Jeep(and American products in general after what happened with GM and Holden) that’s the cause of the huge variations.

    I'm not sure how reliable the 4xe but it drives awesome. Jeep did a great job on this one. The only thing that bothers me is that the car looks a bit boring. It's handsome inside and out but still the outside is a bit boring.

  • @jdubb6591
    @jdubb6591 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    I REALLYlike almost everything Jeep makes and can afford most of them. I wont go near them because in my opinion, the price is 20% too high for the value or my fondness. They are not prices where I would just swallow it and pay the premium like I did on my Cayman. They are in the crazy, stupid, insulting level of pricing.

    • @darrelwhite2649
      @darrelwhite2649 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are wrong. These compare directly to higher prices SUVs like the Lincoln Aviator

    • @ktpinnacle
      @ktpinnacle ปีที่แล้ว

      What GMC wants for their highest end Yukons is stupid money. 99K is simply ridiculous when a Denali can be had with most of the features for mid-upper 70s. But even those prices are obscene, and not being discounted. And this is coming from a GM truck/SUV owner since 1981(two K-Blazers and a Yukon).

  • @ktpinnacle
    @ktpinnacle ปีที่แล้ว

    Question: Can you control the rear AC from the front? If so, the driver might be able to moderate the cabin temp indirectly and not rely on the hurricane in the front.
    I'll be scoping these out around Labor Day. If I can get a Summit for 62 or so, I may jump on it instead of getting a replacement Yukon. GM isn't discounting, and their large SUVs have gotten a little bigger than my wife and I need (compared to my 2001 Yukon).

    Kirk, I can totally relate to not having enough fan speeds! One of the (few) great things about our 22 year-old Suburban is that there are probably 15 fan speeds. I *love* it! As for the rest of the truck, that's why I follow you (to find a unibody 3-row replacement)!!!

    Yes, finally, someone is talking about how dumb the screen is on the passenger side. Aren't passengers already distracted enough? Why add another screen inches away from the center console. It's a waste of resources & it looks tacky on most vehicles. I hate the hyper-screen from MB & the new Nautilus has done the same thing. It's overwhelming.

    • @FloridaWildlife1
      @FloridaWildlife1 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ktpinnacle If you want to buy it, you don't have to wait 'til the end of the lease. On the lease, the $7,500 will be applied as an immediate cap cost reduction and the incentives tend to be higher on CCAP's leases, too. Compared to financing, you will save $$ for sure since the current MF CCAP is offering equals an APR of about 4%. Hard to get these days when financing. Also, if you buy out the lease at any time, excess mileage does not come into play.
