- RC Crane LTM 1055 test the long boom. WOW tish boom is perfect and all functions is ok . The great mast and the boom is over 3m long. Absolute crazy this rc stuff.

Cool cranes but I have a question all the videos I've seen on you tube I see the rig boom up boom down swing left and right but I have never seen the crane actually scope out the boom. do they have to be extended by hand or do they actually scope out mechanically?

jetegtmeier71 A hydro cylinder inside the base, pushes each section out, one at a time, pins off and locks. You refer to load chart for the boom configuration necessary for the lift. You program the LMI, or computer, the configuration and scope out using the joystick while giving full throttle. Computer does the rest.

just throwing it out there but cranes dont pick over the cab ots kind of their counter weight system if you wana kinda be legit about it
wrapin ranger you can lift over cab. it's a 360 degree pick. if your lifting heavy or booming down far then it is suggested to lift over back
My hiab 366xs with jib 100xs lifts over the cab with a 65 foot boom (19.8 meters)
not at all
