Nesting Female Cardinal Eating Her Eggshells

The baby Cardinals were hatching out of their eggs and mother Cardinal was eating her eggshells while helping the babies peck their way out of the eggs. Momma was keeping a good watch on her babies. She started staring at the eggs and pecking at the eggshells.

If this is near his property I’m sure he puts birdseed out for them but it’s not like you can just sprinkle the seeds on their nest but it is nice of you to offer ! I bet when she leaves the nest the male gives her seeds and stuff
