Yall talkin crap about the young man and his method but not realizing he a young cook and he learning. This is what cooking is all about. Trial and error. He doing it for himself so i aint even mad at him. He will get better as he goes
Nice to see the younger guys cooking up some gourmet dinner. I would be easy on the seasoning and would wrap it in alu foil and bake it like that for like 2 hrs, so it doesn't dry out, than uncover and bake another hour, apply sauce, broil for 10min and done.
Next time apply butter and let it melt on the meat side after you take the rack out of the oven. Then warm up the bbq sauce in a pot and evenly spread it. Lastly, put it back in the oven wrapped in tin foil for 10-20 mins.
Tip 1: mix seasoning in a bowl to ensure uniformity Tip 2: Season and place in fridge uncovered to dry brine for a day Tip 3: wrap ribs using tent method w heavy duty aluminum foil Tip 4: cook to fully done. Remove from foil. Apply BBQ sauce and broil till sauce is set Tip 5: allow ribs to rest Tip 6: use a baking sheet instead of that beautiful roasting pan and rack (nordicware makes some awesome baking sheets) Good luck brother.
"Season well" Proceeds to shake on toppings at different fall out rates instaad of blending in a bowl and rubbing. Rookie mistake. Good job kid. Proud of you for doing the damn thing!
You have to cover them with foil and add water, apple juice, orange juice or apple cider vinegar which ever you prefer and bake them for 3 hours it will be fall off the bone tender add them back in the oven for 30 more minutes add sauce and it will be like they cam out the grill crispy and fall off the bone tender
For Baby Back Pork Rubs or St Louis pork Spare ribs - After covering entirely with the seasoning of ur choice; Wrap in aluminum foil put in oven at 275 degrees for two hours then at 350 for 1 hour after adding butter, brown sugar and a small amount of coke or root beer; then take off foil and add bbq sauce of ur choice and back in oven for 5 to 10 minutes at 500 degrees. The ribs will be fall off the bone, tender and delicious. 😃❤️
Yea I was just thinking the same thing, and u can leave it uncovered for the last 20min or less to get a nice char on the edge and dry the barbeque sauce
since they are pork they have a lot of intermuscular fat so pretty much any way you cook ribs they aren't going to be dry unless you cook them for like 12 hours in a hot oven lol
U need to add oil and rub that seasonings in so it can actually penetrate that meats leaving the seasoning dry is gonna make a dry outer layer and cause it to darken or burn

What work best is mix in bowl in measured amounts packed brown sugar dried mustard garlic powder onion powder paprika sage salt pepper rub o all over and massage into meat sand let f
I’m willing to bet every rub tasted different. Only thing they had in common was they were salty AF. Also, you should never put cold BBQ sauce in hot ribs. Warm ur sauce up first.
I really wish I had read these comments. Burned my damn ribs to a crisp and I’m heartbroken! Dry as fuck. I literally thought “shouldn’t these be wrapped in foil?! This seems like a way to dry these out”…. Trust your gut. And maybe read comments before making. Damn it.
The way this kid applies spices is fucking with my ocd
I said same thing 😂😂😂😂
Looks like a 2nd graders art class 😂
🤣
Me too
I said the same thing lol he's so timid like he's scared of the pork lmao
Yooo…Straight to the comments after watching his seasoning method
Lmao same
Ong wtf was that😂😂😂
High key 😂
😂😂😂
Wtf what the seasoning
The way the ribs were seasoned I bet each rib had a different flavor from the others
😂
Ribs surprise

Btw hope you all have a great day

Next time mix all seasonings in a bowl and apply at once all over

Do you know him personally ?
If he’s learning then why is he teaching us ?

@@SALAZAR619 you’re the one who looked up how to bake ribs 🤷🏼♂️
@@JslickGaming yeah, hoping to get some pointers but not from this clown

How not to cook ribs
Well these days I can make a decent rack of ribs. And I started just like this guy, messing up good pork. Don’t give up my friend, keep on grinding
it's. raning. tacos. from. out.
Yes, I’ll have the seasoning special with a side of ribs please.
Nice to see the younger guys cooking up some gourmet dinner. I would be easy on the seasoning and would wrap it in alu foil and bake it like that for like 2 hrs, so it doesn't dry out, than uncover and bake another hour, apply sauce, broil for 10min and done.
He spot welds his seasoning, always season high above whatever ur cooking
Yeah. I was like wtf?
Spot weld😆 if you mix your powders together first that helps too.
He really said “make sure you season them well” moments before he dd a disaster seasoning them poor ribs 😂
Next time apply butter and let it melt on the meat side after you take the rack out of the oven. Then warm up the bbq sauce in a pot and evenly spread it. Lastly, put it back in the oven wrapped in tin foil for 10-20 mins.
Today on : Let’s play with our food
😂
WOW! That looks so yummy and appetizing.
There is nothing more delicious than a homemade baked ribs!
I always follow this recipe when I make bbq at home in the oven. It's incredibly delicious.
Way too much seasoning.
Why not mix the seasonings together then apply on the meat!!
Because you have to rub it in anyway

Mustard should only be a binder, do not add too much mustard, you don’t want it to flavor your ribs
Exactly it shouldn’t be adding flavor or nun like that
I agree mustard is a great seasoning binder, simple and effective for the best results.
I'm wondering about the mustard 🤔 I'd eat it either way, but I hate going through all the trouble and finding out it tastes like a hotdog 🌭

Watching this made my blood pressure go up just look at all that salt. ❤🎉
dope vid before thanksgiving ribs
keep it up !!
I came here to make a comment about the seasoning...I see my work has already been done for me.
"Season it well" comes through with the table shakers for salt and pepper. The lack of liquid smoke was alarming along with everything else
Not everyone has liquid smoke in they kitchen
This recipe looks exactly like Island vibes cooking video I just watched. This lil boy better be giving credit.
Lol that’s exactly what I thought
I swear I was just about to say this I’m like wait a minute 🤔
It is. He just subbed the slap ya mama for Cajun. I literally was just watching hers before I clicked on this. Even how he explains it is like hers.
He better stay away from my island girl
yep. just watched the island vibes vid and this popped up. I thought, "gee, the EXACT recipe I got done watching 10 seconds ago..." 🤔
Please never ever touch a pork rack in your life again.
tf is wrong with you man?
Dude cooked straight rubber 😂😂

Good job kid. Proud of you for doing the damn thing!
350? That shi gonna be well done
350 for three hours equals dried burnt tough meat
350 for 2 hours is enough
I also add liquid smoke.
@@joshj2209 how was it? Mine was delicious, I put my own seasoning though.

Applying the mustard binder with a basting brush is totally something people who cook ribs in the oven would do
Thank you. It smells so nice in my place.
Why do so many people feel the need to educate others when they absolutely have no idea what they're doing themselves
It’s crazy how much little seasoning he puts on it talking about it needs a lot of it
okay my dad told me to put mustard on my ribs and I thought he was trippin, this vid gave me reassurance it was okay
Bro wth is that seasoning 😂😂😂😂🤪🤪🤪🤪… keep at it young buck haha
Looks delicious

Don’t listen to the negative comments
This is better than not making them at all
Keep doing, keep learning
Every rib had a different flavor profile 😂
Tip: add all your seasonings together in a bowl, mix well and then apply to whatever meat your cooking
I tried this recipe and it's good
Good is typical a 50 50 response in my opinion
Pre-mix all your spices together then add that spice mixture to the meat.
This ain't right. Put your hands on it son
Lol, I would’ve just rubbed in the mustard with my hands and I’d probably also add hot sauce with the mustard as a binder. Pretty good tho
Thanks very much broski
She knew it was his "first time" when she saw his seasoning method 😂😂
season the (RIGHT WAY), Not the (WHITE WAY)
Bro had a struggle wit that membrane
Don't make it they will be dry watch a different tutorial

I’m about to make these
Thank u
At this point just eat the spices and save money on the ribs.
When a 16 year old is learning to bbq.
Please don’t ever cook ribs again.
Straight to the doctor's office for a checkup 😂
bro u gotta go higher up when seasoning finna get a pepper bomb on a bit
Man wasted half of his seasonings in one spot💀 I think I’ll mix mine💀
my man legit just added about 4cups of spices SEPARATELY… no mixing at all…. 😅😅😅… i mean where is this kids mom at?? he needs an adult….
Bro decintegrated the ribs "350f for 3 hr' 😂😂😂😂
I bet it was crunchy with all that seasoning.
Get your hands in there son! 😂
How come you don’t mix the seasoning in a bowl prior? Do you have a problem getting it all to stick evenly?
U need to add oil and rub that seasonings in so it can actually penetrate that meats leaving the seasoning dry is gonna make a dry outer layer and cause it to darken or burn
My boy seasoned the top part first 🤦♂️
Why he pat that seasoning😂😂😂 i knew then he earned my trip to the comments
That's it, I'm making cooking videos
lol, I'm thinking the same thing
Thanks ❤
you dont need that much seasoning but be generous
Do you wrap it with aluminum foil? Or just chuck it in?
Is there an award for WORST way to season meat?
Thanks.
Everybody’s so creative
Is it burnt? I was hoping to see the inside
at that heat for that long, it definitely is. some people might prefer it that way though I guess
Went straight to comments after mustard was applied with a brush 😢
Mate have you never seasoned anything before?
Gotta spray with apple cider vinegar every hour, gets it juicy and adds acidity

Imagine being unhappy with yourself that you hate on nonsense
If doing 3hr cook time you'd want to go 300. 350 is for a 2hr cook. Also blend that seasoning before applying!!!!
What work best is mix in bowl in measured amounts packed brown sugar dried mustard garlic powder onion powder paprika sage salt pepper rub o all over and massage into meat sand let f
Next time get a bowl and mixed all the seasoning then apply it. Looks good tho
Foreground noise blocks out background talking.

Bro said season well😂😂😂😂
I will take no advice on seasoning from someone who applies it like that
Making them right on god
Mix it in a bowl don’t add seasoning on messy otherwise it doesn’t taste right
Everyone here about the seasoning, for me it’s more the fact that this thing is dry af
225 at 3 to 5 hours is better least that’s what I do depending on the size of my ribs. 350 will make your ribs dry
I’m willing to bet every rub tasted different. Only thing they had in common was they were salty AF. Also, you should never put cold BBQ sauce in hot ribs. Warm ur sauce up first.

Tbh ill just put on some gd seasoning salt black pepper and onion powder garlic powder
