Hey bro, glad to see you back. Everything that you said is relatable af. As a 24 year old Asperger male. I too am feeling lost in life. I was close to killing myself yesterday, but thankfully I stopped myself. I’ve been hurting myself because of all the trauma that I have been trough in my life. I too feel lost. But I’m doing everything in my power to get my life in track whilst I’m still in my 20s. Please don’t stop making videos. It’s so hard finding someone who I can genuinely relate to.

My dude, please don't hurt yourself. Trust me, things will get better. I have ADD and atypical autism and life really can be very challenging for us no one knows that more than me but mark my words you will find your own way and be so glad you kept fighting and it will make you very strong in the process. You're not alone never forget that it might feel like it but you're really not we all have our struggles. Keep going dude!

I hear you. I’m on the spectrum and I relate to very few of the autistic creators on TH-cam.. I relate to Aaron, Jorden Owens and Adult with Autism.
24 is young and you have plenty of time to iron out the kinks and find something that will suit you

Hang in there brother. We all go through the dark times and thoughts you're going through. It's part of human existence unfortunately. Life can sometimes seem lonely and unfair. But I promise you, their are people who would love to have your life even if you're having a hard time seeing that. Try and keep that in mind and hang in there. Things will get better if you stay positive. 6 months ago I was in the same place as you in my life. I didn't think things could get better. They did and I'm so glad I stuck it out. I hope you do the same.

I relate… I’m autistic and in my 50s and a woman but have shared many of the same struggles as you with regards to employment and social interaction… the only place I truly thrived was when I ran my own business utilising all my strengths, no employees, and working my own hours… unfortunately I worked so hard and loved it so much that I got burnt out and ended up with crippling autoimmune disease and was put on disability and became homeless. Bought a cheap old camper and have been a wandering gypsy living in my tiny rolling home for the past 4 years. It’s not easy, but it’s a lot easier than feeling like a constant failure at meeting other people’s expectations of me. Keep shining…. Keep posting. ⭐️✨🌟
It helps a lot of us out here.

I'm not autistic but I have insane agrophobia and social anxiety. I'm 30 and I'm going to be applying for my first ever job.
I know I will get denied as I have no experience but this is a huge step and I'm terrified and stopping myself already.
Everyone thinks I'm lazy or not trying but I'm not on any benefits, I struggle just so much.
It's really nice to hear other people trying to make small steps.
I've had the sweeping incident at a hairdressers I tried to work in, "brush properly" but I thought, you aren't doing it properly you are doing it quick.
I really struggle with traveling, I have licence but too scared to drive. So Im scared of getting the bus and public transport.
I feel like my entire life is a mess.

Security work on 3rd shift is a very good job for someone on the spectrum. Even more so nowadays with smartphones, do your hourly rounds quickly, and play on your phone and or watch movies for 45-50 minutes till next round.

Similar situation here but i was never diagnosed because my parents never cared to got me checked. I had to repeat 2 school years so therefore i was the oldest in the class but still one of the slowest in learning so they dragged me through the school system because the next step would have been special needs schooling (I dont know how its called in english).
So my parents didn’t want that for me but i was always in trouble because teachers gotten stressed out by me because i didn’t understand a lot and also classmate told each other yeah hes stupid and all of that. I then had the same troubles at work and i broke up 2 apprenticeship and one boss even told my mother hes so stupid he cant even handle a vacuum cleaner although i can’t remember handling it wrong. My mother kicked me out when i was 17 because of psychological issues although i was a lovely shy boy/good kid so i started to work at my fathers construction painting business and i tried so hard to work good but it was never enough. Im now almost 32 and have to go to therapy because i want to be diagnosed. Also at work some people told me whats wrong why dont you get ‚this or that‘ and i couldn’t explain myself because i wasn’t diagnosed therefore i think its the right step for me to get myself checked..finally

As much as I hate it, social interaction has always been heavily recommended to me at every step. Maybe there's some sort of "wellness" center for adults that could help or local groups. One of my friends is in a local Pokemon GO group and they have meetups to do raids and stuff which I think is awesome. I think you'd do well as a streamer to be honest. You're well-spoken and calm. Also would like to mention that having some sort of objective helps. Maybe you can challenge yourself to make a cool 30 second beat everyday or something that will drive focus to your talents and interests? And if you particularly like a beat you've made, you can upload it as a TH-cam short? Idk, I'm just brainstorming ideas. I think it's also important to have patience and not rush to do things because I feel like I tend to do things like that and I just end up burning out.

I'm on the spectrum and ive had hundreds of jobs including day labor like you mentioned very physical tough work digging all day. I kept getting fired and i didn't know why. I became a serial job hopper. Till a year later a guy i knew at the gym got me into the oil field which it was a 6 figure job with no experience only because the guy knew me. I got fired for accidentally scraping a rig equipment it was real dark i was in a cat dump truck. I was sent home with a car i bought with the money i saves. Then i got my CDL been OTR ever since never looked back my parents let me stay with them. Best thing ive ever did got money saved through the roof no life but i got a skill where i don't have to work around people And fear getting fired and being micromanaged. I know a great deal where you come from aaron. Dont get down be strong.

Every time you post one of these videos talking about your situation, I'm struck by how much it parallels mine. So when you say you don't know anyone in your position, I know you mean personally, but man we are so much alike in so many ways. Like you, I don't know anyone personally in my situation. I have some coworkers who kind of are, but they are several years younger than me so it feels different. A key similarity with us is our age, but I'm slightly older than you, since I'll be turning 47 later this year. I've never been diagnosed as being on the spectrum, but it makes me think I probably am in much the same way you are. You talking about how slow you are at work sounds so familiar to me. It's funny, because my dad worked at the steel mill and he had the nickname 'speedy' because he was known to be so slow. Being around him actually made me feel like I was fast at getting things done, and I'm definitely not relative to other people. I was always slow at taking written tests but tended to do above average without trying. Of course, we definitely have our differences too. I think the skill you have driving the big rigs is an underappreciated skill. While obviously not rare since a lot of people do it, many of us would not be good at that, and I don't think it would've been a safe thing for me to do, I definitely romanticized and thought about doing that when I was younger, but someone would've probably gotten hurt in my learning process haha. Anyways, always good to get the updates from you. I wish we lived near each other because it'd be great to have someone like you as a friend. I hope we get to meet in person someday!

These videos are amazing. If life seems difficult and precarious, that's because it is. It's unlikely beyond comprehension that we should exist in the first place. The people who appear to have everything are often not happy, and social media projects a skewed version of reality. If you feel that something is wrong or missing, yet are unable to find it, then perhaps your starting assumption is incorrect? The idea that things are about to go wrong is another way of saying that things seem too good to be true. It all depends on how you look at it.

For me, I get laughed at by my stepfather for not knowing how to mob the floor and he made fun of me saying stuff like you mob like a girl. 4:00 It's not entirely your fault for sucking at time management, getting things done, and getting to work as a kid. Your parents failed to instill skills and mindsets into you while young to set you up for success as an adult. It's not entirely your fault but it is your responsibility. The thing people don't understand is if you deny other people certain milestones in life then they don't develop in those areas. As people age further from the expected age where that milestone should have been experienced/developed it becomes so much harder to catch up. People will say it's fine to have missed certain milestones but you'll find their actions say otherwise.

    • @brianmeen2158
      @brianmeen2158 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Yep and that’s a huge problem. Your past makes you who you are and If you grow up and didn’t achieve most of the normal life milestones that most achieve - you are going to feel like a splintered adult. You feel very uneven and past a certain point it doesn’t matter what you accomplish you will still feel awkward or off. I find it pretty much impossible to relate to peers at this point. Not good .

It left me scratching my head and wondering if time functioned differently for me.

It’s always fascinating how thousands of people around the world can relate to these experiences so deeply - and yet in the real world you feel like the only one who thinks and feels this way.
Getting resentful about it is a bad idea - but - something that you are never allowed to discuss is that this experience is defined by the unintentional impatience and cruelty of all these people around you in the real world who have no tolerance or understanding of the autistic experience. Like it’s as much if a ‘you’ problem as it is an ‘everyone else’ problem.

Walmart and Target are the same that's why the employees always seem so angry because management is always barking orders that aren't attainable.

I think the only snag I have with your mindset Aaron is you said many “normals” give you “normie” advice and that it probably won’t work for you since you are on the spectrum. I guess I don’t understand what type of advice you expect? I mean, there’s only so many things you can realistically try in your situation .. while it is true that telling us to “just go out more and talk to women” largely doesn’t work what do we expect folks to recommend us do? That Guy(Jordan Owens?) said your best bet is to just reconcile that relationships aren’t in your future and to try and come to terms with that. That’s what I’m most likely going to do

    • @michaelpawluk5475
      @michaelpawluk5475 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

He probably does feel that way, but at the same time, that kind of reconciliation can't be forced. When hope is gone, what is left?

@@michaelpawluk5475 I hear what you are saying and I get it. You are right it can’t be forced and I’m in Aaron’s spot almost identically. I really can’t imagine just completely giving up on normal relationships and instead focusing on B or C.. religion seems to work for Jordan but it doesn’t for me. Plus the Anhedonia makes it much more difficult

Have you ever thought about teaching yourself to code? I’ve been coding for two months and I got accepted by a government recognised training institution who are now putting me forward for apprenticeships. I’ve also seen a TH-cam channel of a 35 year old man - youtube channel called: code questing - who uploaded a TH-cam short every day documenting what he was learning and where he was learning from (from complete beginner level), and in 8 months he got a junior software developer role.
If you need help with where to start I can let you know what I’m doing at the moment, how I got started, and what I think would be a good path for you (in terms of learning resources and courses)

@@aaronsjournal139not sure if my comment got deleted or what, but if you are serious about getting into coding, I’d recommend the following above all else:
      Website - Udemy
Course title - the complete 2024 Web Development bootcamp
      Instructor - Angela Yu
You do have to pay for this course but it is usually on sale and well worth the money. I think it provides a level of progression I’ve not seen in any other free resource. It also advertises a 30 day money back guarantee if you’re unsatisfied.
I would highly recommend doing one section a day, which amounts to about an hour and half of learning per day

That friend of yours did you dirty. How is he gonna run away with his gf and just leave you at 10pm on new year's day ??? That is disrespectful as f..k. Friends don't do that to each other, if he invited you over how can he just leave you two hours before the actual new year ??? What do you think they talked afterwards ?? Of course they talked about leaving you alone and it went something like ''man, this Aaron is such a loner.. Bet he's gonna spend new year's alone, got no gf..''. Imagine if you did that to him, would you feel ok inviting a friend over to spend time with you and your gf and then a couple of hours before new year be like 'aight' we're off, just the two of us, have a nice rest of the evening, bro' :D LMAO it's ridiculous, I'd never talk to such piece of sh again

Thanks for sharing your story. Life is hard when you are autistic, in all honesty you and I are mentalcells, I'd say you are a 6 out of 10 and if you could get to a 7 that's when autism doesn't matter to a woman - you will be considered dark, mysterious and quirky rather than awkward, offensive and "icky". I think you are a great guy but you and I are cursed with being autistic and we need to find women that are neurodiverse too, or alternatively looksmaxx to a 7 to the point where autism doesn't matter to a woman.

I wonder if travelling to Asia or even Eastern Europe help? I reckon women there would find you appealing, perhaps get a remote job teaching English. Just a thought. Life is too short, and it seems you've exhausted options in America. Also a guy on the spectrum, so not normie advice as you say.

Yeah was thinking the same, native Americans can always find English teaching jobs and I guess driving trucks is not a skill you lose quickly so you always have a job waiting back home. Plus would be much cooler to see Aarons vlogging from an exotic place with a nice young lady 😉
